Hudson Creek Alzheimer’s Special Care Center

Hudson Creek Alzheimer’s Special Care Center is a licensed assisted living facility located in Bryan, Texas, specializing in memory care services for individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. Assisted Living Facilities provide housing, meals, personal care, and support services in a residential setting designed to promote independence while providing needed assistance.

Hudson Creek Alzheimer’s Special Care Center has a licensed capacity of 66 residents. Some facilities offer specialized memory care.

Who We Serve: Assisted Living Facilities serve older adults and people with disabilities who need help with daily activities but do not require the 24-hour skilled nursing care provided in nursing homes.

Memory Care Services: This facility offers specialized memory care services, including staff trained in dementia care techniques, activity programming designed for cognitive engagement, and appropriate safety measures. When evaluating memory care options, families should consider staff training, staff-to-resident ratios, security features, and the approach to managing behavioral symptoms.

Hudson Creek Alzheimer’s Special Care Center has truly exceeded every expectation. The facility is always clean, warm, and welcoming — it genuinely feels like home. But what makes Hudson Creek stand out even more is the incredible staff. Everyone I’ve interacted with is caring, attentive, and genuinely focused on what’s best for the residents. It’s clear that each person there is treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. The environment is not just safe — it’s nurturing. Knowing that my loved one is surrounded by people who truly care gives me an incredible sense of peace. Hudson Creek isn’t just a care facility — it’s a community built on love, patience, and purpose.

Hudson Creek was a bright star in a difficult time in trying to help my mother. The staff was dedicated to the care of my mother. I would recommend this facility to others.

I was very pleased with the care my husband received while at Hudson Creek. Staff members seemed anxious to do all they could for each resident. Daily there were varied activities designed to meet the interests and abilities of all residents. There isn’t a great turnover among the staff, thus each resident gets to be well known by staff members. I was very impressed by the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility and the personal care each resident received. I highly recommend Hudson Creek!!

Hudson Creek started out with excellent care about year ago 2022. But director then , retired in April 2023 There wasn't any management to speak of for over a month. ; and the facility care steadily went downhill. Another manager took over in latter May and things start to improve. But we started having issues with our loved one again , who is totally bed ridden with no cognitive abilities. She developed a bed sore due caused by neglect. Also being left with soiled depends for hours, along with not being checked and turned every 2 hours, it developed into an opened sore before being discovered by the family; we're still dealing with it today. There were also other minor neglect and abuse issues but nevertheless needed to be adressed. You have to constantly stay on the upper staff , in our case , for week. Since then, it's been 1 issue after another. And the the upper staff get a negative attitude towards you when you catch them off guard in a neglect and abuse issue. But all in all, the facility is very clean, The meals are fair except for puree diets which are bad .The caregivers are very polite except for a couple; And you do have to keep close tab on your loved ones by making constant unexpected visits at various times. obvariodoifollow up visits. I would do a thorough history research beforehand with other family members.

I visit a friend living at Hudson Creek almost every week. The facility is always pleasant and clean. I especially appreciate that when I walk in, the halls and rooms look and smell inviting. My friend is usually occupied with some activity; he has always been an active person, so I really appreciate the variety of activities available to him.
