Cannon Country Assisted Living

When it came time for my mom to go to assisted living, Dean and his staff were extremely accommodating in getting things ready for her to move in. That continued throughout her short stay there with the staff being so helpful and hands on with her care. Theresa stayed in communication with moms hospice care team so they all understood where she was at in her journey and how to be there for her with the changes that were happening. We also appreciated how open they were with our family being there and helping us with concerns and questions 24/7. I am thankful and forever grateful that mom was able to stay so close to home in such a comfortable, country setting that looked and felt more like 'home' and not a facility. They clearly work very hard to make this the best experience possible for your loved one.

We have had an absolutely amazing experience since we moved in. The owners, Dean and Dana, are some of the nicest people you could hope to oversee a parent. The staff is amazing. All are professional but incredibly nice. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about Cannon Country. Thank you Dean, Dana and the whole staff for making my Mother’s residency an absolute 5 Star experience.

My family has been very happy with my parents' experience at Cannon Country. It is homey, comfortable, and the staff is very accommodating. The staff to resident ratio is a primary reason we chose Cannon Country. Staff is extremely caring and encouraging of appropriate levels of resident independence. The residence itself is in a quiet country neighborhood. We've gone on many walks on the neighborhood sidewalks and walking paths. One of the things that I personally appreciate the most is the accommodations that the staff have made for family gatherings and to help with the transition for my parents to assisted living. Thank you to Dean and the staff for working with us to ease this transition.

Dear Dean and loving staff at Cannon Country Living, We cannot express our appreciation enough for the unconditional care and compassion given to our dear Aunt while living at Cannon Country Living. Even through her very difficult and trying times and the Hospice process, you and your staff showed genuine care and empathy. Your staff and residents were always welcoming and friendly during our visits. This quaint setting of a beautiful home that has 5 living quarters has such a warm feel and is as close as possible to what her private home was like. Couples live there too without being separated due to their cognitive or physical needs. May each of you be blessed abundantly for your extraordinary care. Finding a new “home” for an aging parent can be very difficult. When we first visited Cannon Country, our family knew this was the perfect place for our Dad. And he agreed! Being a farmer his entire life, our Dad was a quiet, humble man who appreciated solitude. Cannon Country provided a very comfortable home for him with the scenery of still being out in the country. The staff was caring and accommodating of his independence. He was able to go at his own pace throughout the day, while always being treated with dignity, respect and warmth. One of the most compelling reasons for choosing Cannon Country was their ability to provide care through end of life. He never had to make a transition to another facility. Our Dad felt very at home at Cannon Country.
