Grand Living at Indian Creek

This isn't your typical senior living community; it's more like a high-end resort with a warm, welcoming atmosphere! The amenities are top-notch. I'm talking about a spa, a modern fitness center, and even multiple dining venues that serve delicious, chef-prepared meals. What truly sets Grand Living at Indian Creek apart, though, is the people. The staff members are incredibly caring and attentive. They go out of their way to make sure everyone feels comfortable and engaged. It's clear they're passionate about what they do, and that makes a huge difference. The Sterling Touch is alive and well here! There's always something happening here, from fitness classes and social events to entertainment and activities. It's easy to stay active, meet new people, and pursue your interests. The Facets Director Larinda plans amazing activities every day and is always open to ideas from residents, so you get a say in what activities are happening in your community. If I had to pick one thing that stands out, it's the overall sense of community. There's a real feeling of connection among the residents and staff, which creates a positive and supportive environment. I know that the connections made are genuine and last outside of working hours.

It’s clear that Grand Living Indian Creek is where seniors come to truly LIVE! Residents live there because they want to not because they have to. I’ve seen some of the most meaningful relationships of people’s lives develop after age 80, I’ve seen new love found, people doing things again that they haven’t done in years, and staff forming genuine caring relationships with the Residents they serve. Grand Living creates the perfect environment for all of these things to happen. Not only is it a gorgeous, well-appointed community, but you feel the inviting warmth of the people - staff and Residents - the moment you walk in the door.

We just performed at Grand Living at Indian Creek in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. We had a GREAT time. The audience was fantastic and the facility and staff were a pleaser to work with. It was an easy decision for us to move in to Grand Living. We looked at many different places but this one stood out. When we walked down the hallways, residents as well as staff members would smile and greet us. And the food— was wonderful. I lost my husband suddenly last February, almost 4 months after we moved in. Residents and staff have been so caring and thoughtful. This really is a wonderful community, and the staff go above and beyond all the time for us. I am so glad that this is my home.

Grand Living isn’t just an amazing place to live, but also a wonderful support community. My mom moved in April 2024 and my dad followed in Oct 2024. My mom passed away this Jan. 2025. I worried about how my dad would do there without mom, but it has ended up being a blessing he is at Grand Living. The amount of support he has received from others who have lost a spouse too at Grand Living really has helped him out. He has people he can talk to and not feel alone. The residents can relate and be there for him. My dad has started to enjoy many of the events Grand Living puts on, he even got to wear his high school letterman sweater for their 60’s event. Grand Living is a wonderful home for my dad.
