Concordia at Sumner

Concordia is an amazing, friendly, caring community. I came here 2 yrs ago, depressed and in chronic pain. Now, I take Tai Chi lessons, swim in an arthritis aerobics class, enjoy the library, go to dances, lunches, parties and even have our own hairdresser AND aides if we need them. The staff is amazing and dedicated to making us comfortable and safe. It is a wonderful, very organized independent living for elders and I look forward to many more years here!

We have been residents now for 7 months and have found the atmosphere and staff to be excellent. We are in an independent apartment and have enjoyed the social and dining services offered. The facilities are clean and modern. This is an excellent move to allow us to adapt to the next stages of our lives.

Have enjoyed spending time with old friends here and meeting new ones. All the outings and activities are well planned and so much fun. The staff are well trained and very helpful. I feel quite contented at Concordia at Sumner.

My Brother pulled the string for emergency and I was with him visiting and it took (55 Minutes )!!!! For a Team Member to come check on him 55 Minutes!!! They released my Brother after being told it was an unsafe destination plan and asked them to wait for a call ! I showed up at 10:30 AM and My Brother was released!!! To UNSAFE Environment He was in for Rehabilitation knee replacement He was given a urinal to not have to walk to the bathroom located in the room! This was the 9th day after the knee replacement So Anyone who knows you have to walk use it or that knee will lock up! Could go on and on. Short staffed. 1 cook for 4 buildings department and was cited recently for the kitchen!

My sister has been at Concordia for a year now. I have had family members also at this location before they passed. The staff is very nice and caring. There are many activities for the patients and families. When you walk in, you cannot even tell that you are in a nursing facility. I have been very impressed with how clean it is and with the lack of odors. I will always recommend this facility.
