The Bristal at Englewood

The incredible program director at Bristal is Anthony Elia. (Typo in my earlier review) He has been such a star in helping my mother feel welcome and happy in her new community. His expertise and care for the residents is excellent. My sister and I are so happy with the Bristal. Our mom feels so welcome and is so happy. Thank you so much to Anthony and the entire Bristal staff. We are so grateful.

Since I have been at The Bristal for four months, Anthony Elia has been extremely kind, considerate, and helpful to me whenever I have asked for assistance. He is not only this way with me, but he treats all the residents in this facility with the same respect and care. I would like to recognize his hard work and dedication to this organization, which go above and beyond what is expected. The programs he creates always keep us engaged, and they are truly the best. Thank you, Anthony, for being one of a kind.

My mother has been at the Bristal in Englewood for almost three years. Hard as it was to get her to assisted living, the attention and welcoming attitude of the staff helped enormously. As her need for more attention has grown, everyone from the receptionists, to the wellness center, and upper management have been kind and has provided her with the care that she needs. While it is a difficult transition for anyone to go to assisted living, I recommend the care at the Bristal Englewood without hesitation.

My mom Joan loves living at The Bristal Assisted Living at Englewood. My sister and I want to thank Anthony Alia, Lifestyle Director for welcoming our mom and helping her feel so welcome from the very start. His programming is so innovative, fun and nurturing all at the same time. Our mom loves attending the activities, parties and special events that Anthony plans and runs. Our mom's room is beautiful and so spacious and she loves it so much. Wellness is extremely professional and helpful as well as the Dining Room staff. She has made wonderful friends and is always smiling at the Bristal. Thank you for everything to the entire Bristal Staff, especially Anthony!!!!!

My family member is at the Bristol there are so many problems here avoid moving here! staff takes an unreasonable amount of time responding to the call device sometimes he has to wait an hour to two hours before anyone responds there are approximately 200 residents and the overnight staff is only two or three people many of the aides seem resentful and bitter about their jobs because the Bristol is so understaffed they take it out on the residents. Most of the aides are arrogant and unfriendly they seem to hate their job only a few are kind and patient. The place is just too big and not enough staff so the residents suffer. The question is why don't they hire more people? I think we know the answer to that question Avoid the Bristol move your relative to a smaller facility where the care will be more compassionate yes the place is beautifully decorated but does that count towards a staff and an administration that turns a blind eye to what needs to be improved upon they don't want to hear it. Avoid avoid avoid the Bristol.
