The Memory Center of Atlanta

We moved my father in a couple of weeks ago and I am impressed with The Memory Center. I especially appreciate that the “memory-care” level of service is their specialty and focus. People in need of care do not deserve to feel second rate but my impression is that in some other facilities, memory care patients could feel second rate where they are more or less behind a closed door verses residents with higher capacity. That situation does not exist here. From the management to the caregivers to the custodial and ground crew…. I am more than happy and thankful for everyone I continue to meet. 5/12/25...subsequent addition to post- So, I have wanted to add one additional note after more time at TMC! This past Easter 2025, they had an Easter Celebration and my opinion is that it was a smashing hit and success! Lots of entertainment for the residents, and myself and my wife and daughter enjoyed it as well. A Great Event! My mother has been a resident at The Memory Center Atlanta for almost four years, and I cannot express enough how grateful we are for the incredible care she receives. The facility and staff have been absolutely amazing, even though challenging times like the Covid outbreak and other health issues. The staff consistently engages my mom in activities while also understanding her individual needs and respecting the days when she isn’t feeling her best. She requires daily assistance with tasks like getting dressed, getting in and out of bed, and managing her wheelchair, and the staff handles everything with compassion and professionalism. Most medical needs are taken care of right on-site, but when she has appointments with specialists, the facility ensures she is on time and even waits with us during her exams and treatments. Their communication is outstanding—they always keep us informed about events or any situations that arise. We truly couldn’t have made a better choice for my mom’s care. I wholeheartedly recommend The Memory Center Atlanta to anyone seeking exceptional care for their loved ones.

My Dad moved here on Nov 1, 2024 The staff did an unbelievable turn around for him as we had to move him from a different facility. Everyone is so nice, communicates with us, answers our questions and concerns. The activity programs are outstanding and he has been participating (did nothing but sit around at the other facility). I know he is safe and well cared for.

My mother is a happier person since moving to TMC Atlanta, and so am I! This facility is focused on individuals with various stages of dementia. The caregivers are so kind and professional. The property is clean and beautiful with a large outdoor space. My mother has severe dementia and requires total care including assistance with eating. They make sure that even her puree diet tastes good and that she is getting proper nutrition. When I visit, everyone is always so nice and helpful. I am also happy that the faces I saw when I first toured the facility are the same faces I see 8 months later.

My husband has been a resident of The Memory Center for just over a year and I am very happy with his care. The food is fresh and tasty and varied. The care staff and management staff work together as a team to provide the best care for all. The facility is thoughtfully designed to replicate a town center with four “neighborhoods.” This facility specializes in memory care only, which is a plus for me. I highly recommend it to you.
