Morningstar of Wheat Ridge

After researching several facilities, we have been so blessed to have my parents at Morningstar wheat ridge assisted living, and now memory care. The staff is second to none! Their level of caring and expertise is evident in everything they do. I can trust my parents' care completely to them. The facility is warm and residential, not hospital like at all. That was really important to me. The food is great. And the daily programming is so enriching. The nursing staff is with us every step of the way as my parents' needs change. Communication is strong, between families and facility, as well as between all their coordinating partners in the building like physical therapy, visiting doctors, dental care, the dietary, you name it. overall just the best facility imaginable.

The entire staff at Morningstar Whaetridge is amazing. My Dad is in memory care and doing great. The activity level is absolutely wonderful. Its a very loving community. When problems do arise as all facilities have problems, they are addressed and taken care of. They truly care about your loved one.

Simply phenomenal staff, facility, and activities. Can’t thank the wonderful people who work here enough for making my Grandmother so happy. Sending much love and gratitude.

If I could give this place a 0 I would! This morningstar in wheat ridge was beyond horrible place! They did an assessment on my mom in her home and said she was a candidate for assisted living. I was told she would have a chaperone to and from dining room and also room checks. I set up a camera in her room and none of that was done! They let her sit in her room and no one would come check on her. The nurse sent me an email to hold a medication that she was not even on. I’ve worked at assisted living places and memory care for years and never have experienced a place that the administration staff was selling a room to get their bonus and would say and do anything to get that bonus. Don’t let Tabor or Marcus tell you that they are there for your loved ones when they are not! I could go on and tell you everything that this place did wrong from the check in to the last day my mom was there. . To clarify my review Arvada location was phenomenal with my mom. Wheat ridge location dropped the ball and did not fulfill the promises they made.

We have had such a positive experience at Morning Star of Wheat Ridge. From the very beginning, the staff has been attentive to my dad's needs, and have kept in touch regarding his care.The staff is kind and friendly. The community offers many services from in-house medical providers to regular social events for the residents. I have such a peace of mind knowing that my dad is in such good hands.
