Bestcare Senior Home

Ever since Yannie left, the staff didn’t even put any effort into caring for my mom. She recently injured and the staff had no clue what happened. Every time me and my daughter visits her, she always looks upset or pessimistic. I looked at the food the elders were eating and it looked repulsive and it disgusted me. Please hire better staff and buy better food. I’m disappointed.

I was looking for a place for my mom after she got out of the hospital. I talked with the owner everyday till mom was released. When she picked mom up I got one picture and a couple of text. On Sunday I got some text that puzzled me, went by there on a Monday morning and was so disappointed my mom was out of it had no idea what was going on, now I showed up after I was told not too. The caregiver there at the time even showed the notes on my mom and nothing that was texted was in the notes left. Very upset and disappointed I packed her stuff after 4 days, after fighting for her meds they lost her license we got in the car. I brought her home after going thru her medicine I noticed that her anxiety meds there were a lot of it gone. After one night of being home she was doing awesome. I really thought I could trust Bestcare to take care of her but I was wrong. I made the mistake to believe them, that my mom and the others living there were took care of like they were the staffs loved ones. I also talked with someone and their loved one had fell and Bestcare had no idea how it happen. That was a mistake that cost us a lot of money that we never received back. Thank God my mom does not remember her 4 day stay there, and she doesn't have dementia so she should remember. Please really look in to where you are putting your loved one in, visit them without telling them you coming read all the reviews find out the state evaluations on them, because after I found this out I seen some state evaluations and Best Care didn't have the best for sure.

My father lived at Best Care for almost eight years beginning in August of 2009 after we had tried two other larger assisted living homes in Cumming. Yannie took him in and kept him until he died in April of 2017. This became his home and the caregivers at Best Care were wonderful. It is a small facility with an environment that feels like a home. That is one of the main things we liked about it. The bedrooms are all around the main area with sofas set up around the big screen tv so nobody ever feels isolated or alone. In the other facilities my father was down a long corridor out of sight that felt like a hospital. It was sterile and unfriendly. I cannot say enough as to how thankful my family and I were to find Best Care. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a small personal facility with caregivers who really do care about your loved ones. Thank you Yannie, Regina, Teeneh, Tracy and Elesi for all you did during our father Bob's many years at Best Care! Love to you all...Beth

Looking into homes for family members and contacted the home via phone and the lady answered was rude. She insisted I tell her why I'm calling before she gave me her name. This kind of service as a first impression of the company is risky.
