My 80 year old mother spent her final days here. While the nurses were kind and the rooms were clean, I was saddened at the lack of communication given about my mom’s condition. She was on hospice and I was told they were keeping her “comfortable” and would contact my father when she started to transition. I saw her the night before she passed and her condition had clearly changed. Not one phone call to my father. The only call received was the next morning when she had passed away. Is this a normal experience? I sure hope not.

I highly recommend Linda Manor skilled nursing memory care unit. When our mom first went there we were not convinced she needed that level of care... but it was recommended and she had to go somewhere after rehab. We are so glad we chose this care facility at Linda Manor. Mom quickly acclimated to the facility and felt content, safe and at peace. These feelings were such a relief after rehab. We also were confident that mom was safe and well cared for. The staff are very dedicated and they seemed to truly love our mom. We had frequent visits and were always welcomed. When her end of life came, the support for both us and mom was amazing. After she passed they held a building wide moment of silence in her honor and then staff led her body out to the funeral home car to the tune of Amazing Grace being piped through the building. This facility and its staff truly do an amazing job in supporting the dignity, mental health and physical health care needed for their residents. If there is an opening for your loved one, grab it! You will not regret it. Your loved one will receive great care there. And you will feel supported and have peace of mind knowing they are safe, content, and loved.

Linda Manor is amazing! I cannot rate them highly enough. Are 10 stars available??? My 92-year old parents moved in to Linda Manor 4 months ago, and from the moment that the arrived, the LM staff did a tremendous job at caring for them and making them feel supported and like part of a family. While I would have liked to keep our parents in their home of 50 years, it was proving too difficult, due to numerous falls and other issues. Linda Manor has been our saving grace. The staff is kind, compassionate and generous. Last week, my mother passed away. She chose to complete her life at home (Linda Manor) with the support of the Cooley Dickenson VNA Hospice department. What a collaboration! The way in which the two entities worked together to give my mother the best care, and keep her most comfortable throughout her final days was astounding. I truly cannot commend either business highly enough. My father lives on at LM and knows that he has community and support from everyone there. He will be ok. To anyone considering assisted living as an option for a family member for friend, please, please, please reach out to Linda Manor Assisted Living. They are THE BEST!!!
