Sunrise of Louisville

In my years at Sunrise I have never doubted the wisdom and kindness of the staff members. There has never been a problem evaluating the quality here. The first time my sister came for a visit she said, "This is not like a nursing home; it is more like a palace!" Her evaluation came from experience. That brief statement made me glad we had chosen Sunrise over other available senior organizations. There was a brief period when freedom of movement on the third floor was unusually difficult for us family members. We were treated suspiciously having to ask staff members to provide code numbers for entrance and exit merely to visit our loved ones. It was also an ongoing burden for the staff members. I remember fondly several years ago actually being trusted, and happily I am now feeling a gentle return to that attitude. It must be the result of new management. For that I am grateful.

Sunrise of Louisville Senior Living is a total blessing our family. Brandie, Sandi, Seth and the entire Sunrise team is amazing. They have become an important extension of our family in no time. My parents have resided here for a year and the staff is exemplary; kind and considerate and they genuinely care about the residents. Sunrise offers weekly activities that foster interaction and learning. Very happy with Sunrise. Update, my mom has now been here almost 3 years and my dad died here a few years ago. The care provided to my dad at the end was tremendous and attentive and the kindness showered on my mom since then has been wonderful. My mom is well cared for, has friendships, and she’s very content and safe.

Visited this location a couple Sundays ago. They were having an outing for the residents. It was a beautiful day. Residents were outside enjoying food and listening to a DJ. Some residents and employees were doing karaoke. It appeared to me everyone was having a really good time. The employees there were really nice, especially LaTonya. The building and grounds were neat and clean. Went inside just before dinner was to be served. Food smelled really good.

Visited this facility on a Sunday afternoon when they had an outside event with a cookout and karaoke for the residents. Very impressed by the friendly staff . LaTonya was excellent with staff and residents . Facility was extremely clean. The residents seemed to be happy and enjoy the music that day. It seemed to have a sense of home.
