Bridle Brook Assisted Living and Memory Care Community

My sister was recently moved to Bridle Brook Assisted Living. She is in the memory care unit. I visited her for the first time yesterday. I was very impressed with the facility. From the time I walked in the front door to the time I left, I continued to see things that impressed me. The staff is caring, the place is clean, and all the residents are very well taken care of. The staff interacted with the residents and treated them with the dignity they deserve. Keep up the good work! It is so nice to see such a well run facility.

My mom moved into the memory care area at Bridle Brook a couple of weeks ago. We had a very good experience with the intake process. It's clear that leadership is dedicated, organized, and sincerely cares about the work they are doing and the people they are serving. Lots of really nice, friendly people. I've been quite impressed by the quality of support in the memory care unit, and mom is adjusting more quickly than I expected. It's great to see that employees enjoy the company of the residents, and each other. The facility itself is very nice, as well.

My sister’s children recently moved my sister to Bridle Brook. And my brother and I drove down to visit her, yesterday. As soon as I walked in, I noticed how bright and clean the facilities were. The floors were spotless. There were pictures and beautiful statues throughout. It did not have that, “let’s throw something on the wall” feeling. They realize that their residents are human beings and it is shown by the beautiful “touches” that are throughout the building. As we walked through the nursing home, I noticed some of the services that were available to the patients. There was a movie room, a beauty shop, a library, etc. And, as we walked I noticed there were offices throughout the facility - not just in the front where you walk in. The staff was so approachable and they were everywhere. It was so vibrant and full of life. This is what my sister needs. She is in the memory care wing, and she needs stimulation and a joyful atmosphere. My first impression was very positive. Her children will keep me updated, and I hope with all my heart that this facility is where she gets the care she needs.

When searching for a new residence for my Mom, we went to see Bridle Brook. My Mom was living in another assisted living community in Decatur and we desired to have her closer to us in Mahomet or Champaign. The staff at Bridle Brook made the transition seamless. They were responsive, helpful and approached our transition with compassion. Since my Mom moved to Bridle Brook three weeks ago, I can report our experience has been positive mostly attributed to the caring attitude of the staff.

My father has lived at Bridle Brook for a little over two years. Our family has been very pleased with the responsiveness of the nurses and the care staff. Communication from Bridle Brook is always respectful and timely. The food is also very good. It is a very welcoming place to the residents, family members, and guests that come to visit my dad.
