Boden Senior Living in Maplewood

Emma is the worst! The way she treats staff and residents is diabolical! She talks to people disrespectful and expects people to just let her get away with it or else they will lose their job. She had my 16 year old daughter passing meds with no training and also working double shifts and overnights even though she had school the following morning but would say if my daughter can’t find someone to cover and doesn’t come in she will lose her job. When residents overdose she blames staff even though she makes anyone even people with no training on med pass pass out meds. She will leave residents in soiled diapers for hours until someone that she doesn’t like comes in so that they can change the resident. “She has her favorites” that she lets get away with doing nothing and blames the employees that she doesn’t like for the mess. I’ve recorded conversations between her and my daughter after hearing how she spoke to my daughter the day my mom passed away. She told my daughter “that’s not a family emergency or an excuse not to come in if you don’t show up you will be terminated. When I asked her for corporates number she refused to give it to me but I found it! And I will be sending in all the receipts I have on how this woman should not be trusted with peoples family members. Check the death ratings since she’s been there! The overdoses! The extra illnesses that the residents are getting while in her care! A manager is responsible for making sure EVERYONE does their job but most importantly DOING THE JOB IF NOBODY ELSE IS CAPABLE! ~Emma knows that multiple employees and past employees have evidence on how she treats them and the residents so she fires the ppl that stand up and say she’s wrong. The others just walk with their heads down so they can keep their jobs. (Investigative this place) if yall really care about the residents.

Couldn’t have found a better place for my parents!… the staff is kind and attentive, they treat the folks here like family and genuinely care for the folks in their care. The schedule is packed with activities: guest musicians, field trips to fun places and fun activities in the facility, and just to name a few. Speaking of which, they are having a “Shortest parade” in the parking lot this week! The nursing staff takes care to attend to the needs of the residents, and since they specifically cater to memory care they can focus on engaging with the folks in caring and kind ways appropriate to their condition. We looked at a lot of places for my parents; once we discovered Boden the search was over!

This is a awesome facility. They are very kind to clients and their loved ones. Extra shout out to Tristan Laura and Emily!

All of the staff and management are all wonderful people. They are very kind, caring, and treat their residence with the upmost respect. They have a very heavy focus on client engagement and a variety of activities to keep them occupied. Your family is in good hands here.

While our loved one was a resident there, there were several staff members that were able to work with our loved one in a respectful manor and appropriately redirect when necessary. The staff members get above 10 stars - given what they have to work with and the different high levels of Alzheimer and difficulty they were outstanding. There were more activities than what you can image - during Christmas time they had Christmas carol's and piano playing constantly. We would recommend this community to other families .
