My mother resided at Blue Sky Manor for four years while battling Alzheimer's, including the last two years of her life when she was completely bedridden and required full-time care. The caregivers at Blue Sky were absolutely phenomenal. She had the same dedicated caregivers throughout her stay, which made a huge difference in her comfort and care. The care givers consistently kept me informed with regular updates and photos, especially when I was traveling for work, giving me great peace of mind. They were attentive to her needs, always letting me know when personal care items were running low or if she needed different pajamas to assist with her care. Her vitals were closely monitored, and they promptly recognized when hospitalization was necessary, arranging everything and contacting me immediately. The facility was clean, and from my visits, the other residents appeared happy and well cared for. I am deeply grateful for the compassionate and professional care my mother received at Blue Sky Manor.

This is a hidden treasure that I highly recommend to anyone who needs to place their loved ones there. I was thoroughly impressed by how clean the home was and especially impressed at how much those caretakers took special time with each patient. They gave my dad a new home and really took care of him until his last day here on earth. Their communication skills, their nursing skills and pretty much every skill maker of a home maker these girls did. they never made me feel like my dad was too much to handle and always said wonderful things about him that I know they were saying the truth. They not only cared for my dad, but they also cared for me in someway too by comforting me as he went through the death and dying stage they held my hand and cried with me and let me know everything was gonna be OK. The owner Hal has created such a beautiful atmosphere for the patients who live in his homes. I think you Hal and I think your staff.

My mom has been at Blue Sky Manor for the past year after having complications from Covid. She has passed now but received excellent care while at this facility. The staff are truely caring people and always made sure my mom was tended to. They administered medications, prepared meals, gave her showers and made sure she was changed regularly. My mom had difficulty hearing and the staff communicated with her primarily through writing on tablets. They were patient and ensured my moms needs were always met despite her communication difficulties. My mom had many medical issues that required medication, skin creams, eye drops and routine monitoring of vitals. The staff took care of all of this and always let me know when refills were needed. As my mom received physical therapy and began to rehabilitate, they supported her goals to be out of bed daily and to sit at the dining room table. My mom loved Christmas and the staff allowed her to participate decorating the tree. She enjoyed sharing her decorating talents. The facility was kept clean and tidy. The staff got to know my Mom and learned of her love for flowers and birds. The staff brought her flower books and put up a bird feeder for her to watch birds. It's the small details that can make a big difference in a residents life...Blue Sky Manor gets that! I would recommend Blue Sky Manor to anyone looking for something beyond and more personable than institional care. I am grateful to this facility and the staff for giving my mom a quality of life I don't believe she would have otherwise received.
