Finding Heritage Lane for our brother has been life changing for our entire family. He has now been there for almost two years. The staff is phenomenal with every person being competent and highly trained, loving, compassionate and considerate. Thoughtful food and menu choices have been a highlight in controlling weight and blood sugar fluctuations. This is a close-knit community that is truly a family of caring residents and staff. Recently our brother was sick and needed hospitalization. A person from the staff regularly visited him in the hospital and facilitated transfer back to Heritage Lane. After searching country-wide for a facility, Heritage Lane is truly one-of-a-kind and a blessing for our brother to call home. Bill (family member)

We have an extremely complex special needs son, with a myriad of unique mental and behavioral challenges. He's been at numerous care facilities over the past 30 plus years, including home care, group homes, private facilities and state run facilities. All of which failed to provide the proactive and hands on support he needs to keep him and the community safe. Heritage Lane is the ONLY place, through their unique Milieu therapy approach, that has positively impacted our son's life and his future. We are so thankful for the visionaries that created this truly transformational approach to working with adults such as our son. We are also thankful for the providers and staff at Heritage Lane--they are truly hands-on daily caregivers and therapists (and super great cooks by the way!), that address all facets of life: behavioral modification, life skills, personal hygiene, money management, healthy food choices, peer interaction, nursing, and beyond. Here at Heritage Lane they have created a program the residents can follow to become more independent! Watching the process and how the residents adapt to a wonderful living style as well as get the help and resources they need is just amazing.

Heritage Lane is a very special place for those needing independence yet guidance to help them navigate through their SMI journey. On site, psych, therapy, clinical. It has everything the behavioral Assisted Living would need to be successful.

This facility is one of a kind where individuals get to regain their stability and find a new purpose. It has helped many to achieve independent living after doing the program.
