Sunrise of Metairie

Sunrise was very helpful in making the process of moving my dad into an assisted living facility and their staff members: LJ, Jessica and Polly were very informative, patient and friendly. When my Dad came to tour the facility, he found it to be very clean and the staff to be very friendly which made it easier on us to go through the process of placing him here.

My family is at peace knowing my dad is now at Sunrise. From the vibe you get walking in, to the lovely dining experience made possible by their head chef (who worked for decades under Emerald Lagasse), to the caring staff. We know my dad is getting the care he deserves. He is blessed to have Reneisha as his care manager and we also very much appreciate Polly (Dir of Nursing) Katrina (Memory Care Coordinator) Nicole, etc.. This team understands one size does not fit all; they do not give up on finding the best strategies that will work for their clients. You can tell this is more than a job for them. Welcomed from the start. I did a surprise walk in and instantly was given a tour of the memory care unit with Katrina. Then we scheduled a formal tour with LJ who was informative and could answer all of my questions and concerns to the fullest. We also met with Matt who was also welcoming. The nursing staff was accessible without prior notice and explained the Sunrise system for dementia care From the get go I have felt comfortable having this team care for mom in these difficult circumstances. From the hostess at the front desk to the CNAs on the unit it’s a warm comfortable place for mom.

I did an in-service with the staff there starting with the Administrator all the way down to the marketing director, and it was nice to see the facility was very clean and organized Matt. The Administrator was very engaged with his employees seemed like he had a good work relationship with his staff. They seem to reciprocate back with him in a respectful manner as well as him giving respect back to his staff. The marketing director LJ was great at giving me a tour of the facility and very knowledgeable of selling his product as he was talking about the facility. He seemed very engaging with me as well as his staff. He seems well liked with the residence in the facility. I think this place is top-notch.

We met with LJ Canal and took a tour of the facility. LJ answered all of our questions and was a wealth of information. A beautiful property and very clean and inviting. They take care of all that you need for a loved one on any level. I would highly recommend.
