Brookdale Monroe

My mom has been a resident of Brookdale since September last year, the entire staff is very kind and caring to the residents in Brookdale Monroe, the dining room does a phenomenal job, I have eaten there on occasion. Today was one for Father’s Day quite the feast they had! Filet mignon, and lobster and shrimp crab salad, bravo to the chef! The activities are lots of fun with Linda and Jamie, they keep the residence, smiling and busy, my mom personally loves them both💕 I am going to post a few pictures from today’s delicious luncheon!

My mother moved into Brookdale Monroe in May of 2023 when it became apparent she could no longer live on her own and lived there until this week when she passed away. The facility and the staff are superb. They helped both her and us as she declined ,enormously. They treat the residents with dignity and respect. They are always willing to help family members through difficult situations with their family member. If your family member needs to go into assisted living I highly recommend Brookdale Monroe.

At the Brookdale Monroe facility I found the most genuinely caring individuals who were understanding of my families struggles. After moving items in, health issues prevented mom’s move and we were met with a fair resolution. Even after giving notice that my mom would not be moving in, Jackie called to see how we were doing. Every time I stepped through the door I felt a sense of comfort and my only regret is that mom didn’t move sooner to enjoy all the facility had to offer.

My mother recently moved into Brookdale Monroe. The circumstances that led to her moving to assisted living were challenging and we were forced to scramble to find a good place for her to move very quickly. From our first visit until my mother was finally able to move in, Jackie did an awesome job of showing us around the facility, explaining how the community is set up and the levels of care available. Through every step of the process she made a very stressful situation as manageable as possible. When my mother was delayed in moving in due to medical complications Jackie checked in with me regularly to keep track of our situation. Kudos also to Barbara who was a pleasure to work with on the business side and Elizabeth is extremely thorough on the medical side. Although my mother has lived there for a very short time, I am very pleased with the level of care that she is receiving and the professionalism and compassion of the entire staff. I sleep better at night knowing that she in a safe and pleasant place.

My wife’s elderly sister passed away in Aug 2024 and we needed to find an assisted living for her husband Ed. We scheduled interviews at multiple facilities and Brookdale was our first to visit, long story short we never went any further. My wife, Ed and myself knew the moment we walked thru the doors this was going to be Ed’s new home. From Management to Medical to Dining Services to Maintenance they more than met our expectations and always makes our family feel welcome and well informed. Kudos to Barbara and her staff for maintaining a wonderful facility!!!
