Springfield Place Residential Care

My loved one recently has been staying here and I unfortunately had to take them out this home due to them being bit by what we believe to be bedbugs, And I myself started seeing bedbugs in my home after visiting my loved one in this home. Secondly my loved one told me they saw a roach crawling on the wall behind their bed. I am so disappointed in this nursing home. They are extremely unsanitary. The carelessness is at an all time high with them. I don’t pay my money for my loved one to live in filth. No one should have to live like this, especially not while they’re paying their hard earned money. This place needs to be SHUT DOWN!

I can't express enough how caring and involved these nurses, cna's and activity workers are in the care of our loved one. They always greet us with a smile and inform us of any changes, progress and just how the day has gone for our loved one.

The rehabilitation section and overall skilled nursing care provides opportunities for whatever level and individual is at to feel dignity and love. Thanks as I have been in health care almost my entire life and you are taking good care of one of my congregants. Peace.

I was very pleasantly surprised by my experience. I am a resident of a senior living community associated with a nursing home facility in Pennsylvania so I have a basis for comparison. I was visiting the mother of a friend. The facility was clean, the residents appear to be well cared for and there was no "nursing home odor". The residents were engaged in bingo while I was there as well as going to the beauty shop. Staff were friendly and appeared to be attentive to the needs of the residents. I was extremely impressed by the screening process for covid when we arrived. I feel that this demonstrates the concern that the facility has for both its residents and staff. The room I visited was spacious and had a full bathroom in it for the two residents who shared the room. Overall, I am left with a very positive impression of this facility.

My mom recently passed and spent several years in this facility. Because of geographic distance we could spend only a few days a couple of times during the year. Every time I went to see my mom both the facility and my mom were spotless! I loved that they spent time with her doing her nails. The staff here are wonderful and angels taking such good care of my mom. I never had to worry while in their care. Such a hard job and I commend these very special people.
