Heritage Pointe Assisted Living

My Grandparents have been living here for 6 months now. The courtyard is beautiful, the food is great, and the staff is exceptional. My Grandfather recently passed and they really went the extra mile to help and support us in everyway possible. He could be a difficult resident, and the care team handled him very well. We are keeping Grama here even though she doesn't need a care plan quite yet; she's made good friends and loves the available activities! Thank you to Marlowe, Paul, and the entire care team: you guys are doing a fantastic job!

I toured the facility and brought my mother to tour. I was so impressed with everyone I met from the ladies at the desk, to the staff we passed , the dinning room staff and Kristina the sales specialist. I was treated with such kindness during my search for a assissted living facility for my mother. Many residents stopped to talk to us and made us feel so welcoming. My mother did not pick this facility but it was the place I would have chosen. I cant explain how kind everyone was. I appreciate the time this facility gave me and returned my phone calls promptly . It was such a positive expierience.

We have had a very positive experience with Heritage Pointe. From the very beginning when we were looking at different places for our loved one, Tracy at Heritage Pointe responded immediately and answered our many , many over the course of a few months. We did ultimately decide that Heritage Pointe Memory care was the right place for our famiy member, and are so glad we chose them. All the staff has been fantastic to communicate with, and we feel our loved one is being taken care of in a safe place by caring people. Can't say enough good things about Heritage Pointe and its staff!

My parents were able to enjoy 25 years of retirement in their home. When my mom started having mobility problems, my dad was able to assist her. That’s when we should have started looking for an assisted living facility. When dad took a fall trying to help mom, their independent home life ended, and we started looking for a place where they could get the help they needed. The first assisted living home seemed okay at first, but as they settled in we had some concerns. It felt crowded and busy. Some care givers were excellent, but others were apathetic. A night time incident that left them without help for several hours caused us to look for another place. That led us to Heritage Pointe. We have been very pleased with Heritage Pointe. The facility forms a square around an open courtyard. The courtyard is a well-maintained space with a walkway through landscaped plants and flowers. Heritage Pointe is spacious and nicely decorated inside. There is a large room off the courtyard that contains an ice cream machine (flavors change daily-cones or cups), a coffee/hot chocolate/latte machine, and a popcorn machine with pre-bagged popcorn. There is a large dining room with a varied menu, a chapel, a library, a theater room, a pool table room, laundry facilities, and several open areas with tables that are great for family gatherings. Heritage works hard to provide activities inside and outside the building, though my parents generally don’t participate. The rooms are reasonably large. My folk’s room has a kitchenette with a full sized refrigerator, a living room, bedroom, and a big bathroom. The cathedral ceiling makes it seem even more spacious. Larger apartments are available. The facilities are really nice, but what we like best about Heritage are the caregivers. Help has been prompt. Caregiver efforts and attitudes have been great. My dad enjoys telling jokes to the wait staff in the dining room, and some reciprocate with their own jokes. My dad refers to one helper as his second daughter. My folks have made some friends, and, while they would really prefer to live independently in their own home, they know that’s not possible. They are content and happy at Heritage Pointe. It is home to them now. We, the kids, are confident they will get good care. We recommend Heritage Pointe.

I'm updating this review from several months ago. My mother was at Heritage Pointe from May through November when she passed away. She was there 6 months almost to the day. I am so impressed with the care and the facility. This has been a terrible time with COVID and they have done EXCEPTIONAL in the way they have protected our loved ones. My mom commented many times on the measures they were taking and how safe she felt. The communication from the administration was also frequent and complete. I can not say enough good things about Heritage Pointe. They made a very difficult 6 months as good as it could be. As I was gathering her belongings and found multiple things the staff had given her to celebrate times us as family couldn't due to COVID. I am forever grateful for this amazing facility. We needed to find a place for mom after acute and skilled rehab. From the minute we stepped into Heritage Pointe, we had a sense of caring and peace. We made the choice for her to come here and couldn’t be happier. Sadly this all happened during COVID, so we couldn’t even help get her settled. Tracy and the team assured us she would be treated like their own mom and would help her. They did then and continue to do so now. We couldn’t be happier than we are with every single person at Heritage Pointe. The hardest thing we’ve ever had to do is leave the most important person to us in someone else’s hands and not be able to see her. But over and over they have proven mom is in the best place with the best care. Thank you EVERYONE at Heritage Pointe for all you do.
