Wesley Enhanced Living Burholme

Hi, my name is Gloria. My mom, Joan, is a resident of Wesley Burholme. I am very pleased knowing that my mother is safe at Wesley. She gets her medications on time, and she has her lunches in the dining hall which she tells me she likes going to. The nurses are there to give her help when she needs it. Mom gets to see a doctor once a month and a podiatrist, also. She enjoys the activities such as trivia and whatever else they have that day. Our initial experience of the Wesley community was with Jennifer Anderson who helped us so much getting mom into Wesley Burholme during the COVID-19 epidemic. Her help was very much appreciated. Bottom line: Wesley is a safe, caring facility for seniors which I very much recommend!

WEL at Burholme is a warm, welcoming and attractive nursing home. Jennifer Anderson took excellent care of our family as we moved a loved one into assisted living. She's especially helpful when it comes to explaining how an average family can afford this kind of care. Our loved one's health has improved dramatically and he's making new friends in this lovely facility. Another bonus is that public transportation is only a few steps away, and there are frequent excursions in the Burholme bus. The rooms are big and bright. The food is beautifully prepared and healthful. Burholme doesn't feel like an institution. It feels like home.

I moved my parents into Wesley back in November 2017. I have to say the entire staff has been extremely helpful, friendly and downright concerned about caring for my parents (who are in their 90's) and the other residents. . A few people on staff deserve special mention: Lisa at the front desk is always so cheerful and knows everyone by name and makes you feel welcome. Jasmine who has provided a tremendous amount of care for my Mom is a 10 on my list. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the good care that they receive from Ruth, Tiffany and Neero(?). On the administration side Jennifer and Pam have been very helpful as we navigate our way through the steps necessary to care for my parents.

After a fall, my husband and I had to find a place for his mother, we felt it was unsafe for her to remain in her home. The rehab center, where she was placed after receiving care for her fall, recommended we look into Wesley Enhanced Living Burholme. We couldn’t be happier with her care. We were a little apprehensive as to what her reaction to this move would be, but she adjusted quickly. The staff takes all of the credit for this, they made the transition so smooth and welcomed her into the community. This has turned out the best place for her and us. All of the staff is fantastic, she sings their praises every time we visit. She has no complaints and neither do we. Thanks to all of the staff at WEL Burholme.

Joan is my 93 year old mother and I'm the oldest of her eight children. She began her stay at Wesley in Burholme, on March 1st, after leaving her home of 70 years. All eight children were raised in the house, so you must know that she was very hesitant about this move. We all wondered if we had made the right choice, but I have to say, that all of us feel that we couldn't of made a better choice. The first thing that is noticeable is how pleasant the staff is.They can not do enough for my Mother. The building is very clean and always smells fresh. Jennifer Anderson, the Manager and Karen her assistant, were very helpful with all the details of making a change of this magnitude. Jennifer actually came over my Mothers house to meet with her and answered any questions she had, which eased her mind. My family is very happy with Wesley, it has everything she needs. Ed White
