Citrus Place

My family and I are so very happy that our dad/papa is at Citrus Place. From the first day we visited with my dad, he could not stop talking about his move-in date. He told everyone. He is so happy with his apartment, the yummy meals, and he has friends. I love that he feels safe and comfortable. The staff is so caring and everyone is kind. The property is beautiful and clean and the apartments are so nice. My dad feels independent, in his own apartment, but still has the comfort of knowing someone will be there if he needs assistance. I really appreciate you all at Citrus Place. Thank you so much for bringing us peace.

The Thanksgiving meal at Citrus Place, Riverside, on November 20th, was a pleasant experience. The food was flavorful and fresh and the service was excellent. We were very satisfied with the presentation and the assistance from the staff.

My experience from day one was amazing! I was looking for a place for my dad. Everyone I talked to on the phone or in person, including Janet and Charles were amazing. They both went above & beyond! I was lucky enough to work with both of them off and on, and I appreciate them very much. I am really hoping my dad falls in love with it like I have, it’s been a little bit rough since he doesn’t feel that it’s time for a change. So I’m hoping it works out. Wonderful! Citrus Place was referred to me by A Place for Mom. After visiting several communities, I was exhausted and almost canceled my appointment. Then I received a follow-up text from Janet (Sales Manager), and I’m so glad I decided to go. Janet was warm, patient, and truly understanding. From the start, I felt like placing my mother here would be more of a transition than a handoff—because of Janet and her team’s compassion. Janet answered all my questions and arranged meetings with the chef to discuss dietary needs and the head of nursing to review medication management. I appreciated that she offered tours of both assisted living and memory care to help me make an informed decision. One thing that stood out was her advice when I explained my mother was visiting my sister and couldn’t come for an assessment for two weeks. Instead of pressuring me, Janet encouraged me to enjoy my respite time and bring my mom when she returned—such a contrast to another community that wanted me to retrieve her immediately. I also want to thank Michelle for taking time to talk with me about medication management and listening to my story. That meant so much. Although we’ve decided not to place my mom at this time, Citrus Place will be my first choice when the time comes. After visiting many communities, Janet and her team stood out for their compassion, patience, and genuine care. If you’re reading this, I know how heavy this decision feels. My mother Zerline moved to Citrus Place in May 2025. We worried that she would have hard time adjusting. But the caregivers were awesome. They made my mom feel loved and care for. Rosie and Cristina never failed her they treated her like their own mother. Always there when she called. All the other caregivers and cleaning staff were great too. They always made her laugh and smile. I love them all because I was able to go home and feel that she was loved and cared for. Thank you to Alyssa, Wanita, Maria, Wendy,Alma, Laura and Stacy.
