Atria Hertlin Place

I love the Atria! The exercise classes are great, the concerts are enjoyable and frequent, the activities, recreation and front desk staff are amazing and so helpful. I personally enjoy the book club, walking club, rummikub, cardio drumming classes and Michigan Rummy. I have been here for just over a year and although there was an adjustment period acclimating to my new home, I have made some really special friends. I am very impressed with the security system. Everyone receives a safety pendant and all I have to do is press the button if I need help. There is front desk staff 24hrs a day too. I have enjoyed the meals. There is always at least 2 choices to pick from at dinner. If you need extra help like me, there are loving and compassionate caregivers available to lend an extra hand if needed. If you are in search of a comfortable and welcoming place to live, the Atria is worth exploring.

I cannot say enough positive things about my family’s experience so far at the Atria Hertlin House. From our first meeting, Jennifer made my brother and I feel so supported in the care that would be needed for my dad, who would be exiting rehab in a wheelchair, and my mom with dementia. When my father unexpectedly passed while in rehab, and we needed to quickly shift gears with this new direction life was taking us, Jennifer supported us every step of the way. She smoothly downsized the apartment for one person instead of two and made my mom feel at home before we even moved her in. Jennifer assisted us on so many levels with a compassion not many show; answering our many questions at night and on the weekends. She consistently put our minds at ease that we were doing the best thing for our mom. In the few weeks since my mom moved, she quickly adjusted (a lot for someone who recently lost her husband of almost 66 years and has advancing dementia) and loves her beautiful apartment thanks to everyone at Hertlin House. Her aide, Patty, is kind, knowledgeable, attentive, and my mom absolutely adores her. Patty treat my mom with respect and makes sure that my mom is involved in daily activities instead of sitting in her room. I cannot express my gratitude enough for the peace of mind that Jennifer, Patty, and the entire hard-working and friendly staff at the Atria have provided my family!

I went to the nursing home to visit my cousin Margaret today. I had the pleasure of speaking with Lauren a couple days ago and she assisted me with my big family to come down to see Margaret . Lauren, you Tracy, and one other girl I don’t remember her name made today an unbelievable day for Margaret. She cried half the afternoon cause she couldn’t believe we were all there to see her.I had such a wonderful time Lauren thanks to you. The day was unbelievable. You made it happen for us what a beautiful facility what a beautiful staff it was absolutely unbelievable. I had such a great day. Thank you so much again.

The Atria Hertlin Place is the Absolute BEST!!!!! My 90 year old Uncle is so happy, He has been a resident for almost a year now and WOW has his life changed!!! From the start I knew that this was the perfect place for him, I knew he would thrive at this beautiful place after my first tour with them. Thank you to Lauren and Jennifer for changing my favorite Uncle’s life❤️ I highly recommend The Atria

Absolutely great place to spend my retired years fantastic staff. Very accommodating to any stupid thing I request. There is only one Problem that you have to solve with the age of the building and how to solve the problem of the windows the building has to be addressed.there is just so much Maintenance can do. Like I said the problem has to be solved by the big bosses.
