Amethyst Grove Assisted Living

This home deserves 1000 stars for the care they have given my mom. It was such a blessing to find Amethyst Grove in Roseville. It feels like a home and not just an assisted living arrangement. The staff are exceptional. I knew my mom was well taken care of and loved. The house is beautiful and always extremely clean. My mother always had on clean clothes and very clean hair. I can't thank them enough for the love and care my mother was given. I highly recommend taking a tour to see if this is the right fit for your loved one.

My father spent the last 3 months of his life in Amethyst Grove, and I felt that this was the best possible care that he could have received at this most-difficult time of his life. The staff are absolutely wonderful people. They were so helpful, working with me constantly to ensure my dad had the optimal care and comfort. All of my family was so impressed with both the facility and the staff. If you are considering Amethyst Grove for your loved one, you have found a gem.

My mother lived at Amethyst Grove almost a year. She was very happy there. The staff is very professionsl, thoughtful, loving and respectful and she felt at home. They were kind and loving to us too. We felt secure she was well taken care of. We highly recommend Amethyst Grove for your loved one.

I highly recommend without reservation Amethyst Grove! My mom and I toured memory care/assisted living homes looking for a place for my grandmother a year ago. We initially spoke with Marc, the owner, who gave us a tour. He took the time to answer our many questions. I am a nurse and my mom and I were very concerned about finding the right place. I remember Marc talked about his staff and how he insured the people he hired had an "Amethyst heart". I now understand "Amethyst heart" to mean genuine compassion and concern for not only the residents but their family as well. The staff are truly amazing at redirecting and navigating the challenges of dementia with patience and respect while also maintaining dignity. Nayely and Ciera are very special to my grandmother and our family but every single staff member we encountered (Marie, Iovanka, Windy, Ruby, Teylor) is truly amazing and exemplified "Amethyst heart". We met Marc's wife at a holiday gathering for the residents and she was so warm and welcoming as well. Also a special thank you to Iovanka for supporting my mom during grandma's passing. My grandmother lived at Amethyst Grove the final year of her life and I can say we will be forever grateful to have come across it in our search for places for her. I can honestly say I can't think of a single area they can improve upon. Every aspect of grandma's care was handled with kindness, compassion and concern for her safety including during COVID challenges, the waxing/waning nature of dementia, physical changes, end of life issues and more. The house was also always spotless, homey and cheerful and grandma was clean and well cared for. It was clear she felt safe and at home there. We never encountered dirty smells or any heavy fragrances to disguise them when we dropped in. My most heartfelt gratitude to Amethyst Grove and your staff of gems. You helped us find moments of beauty, laughter and joy in the challenging and painful progression of my grandmother's journey with dementia.
