Hearts and Mind Activity Center is a licensed adult day program serving San Jose, California. As a psychologist I highly recommend the services at Hearts & Minds Activity Center. There intergenerational approach is unlike any other in the community. The caregivers are compassionate and a gem for client's suffering from Dementia and Alzheimers, but also for caregivers.
Hearts and Minds is so incredibly helpful and kind to both the patient and the caregiver. The caregiver can follow the patient's progress through an activities list on email and periodic reviews. I never worry when my husband is at H&M.
The Alzheimer's Activity Center is an incredible place with a loving staff that daily welcomes my 82-year-old father. He loves getting up, dressing up and attending activities and events at the center, which everyone lovingly calls "The Club." During his 8-9 hour days here, he has an opportunity to meet and mingle with children at the local Rosalind day care center, as well as enjoy playing dominoes, lawn bowling, word search and other games with his friends attending the Center. Thank you to Maria, Grace, Brandon, Tammy and the entire staff for providing such a terrific, safe and nuturing environment for my father! Our whole family is grateful ~ Denise O'Brien
