Vitalia Active Adult Community at Rockside

In the past few Months with Alex at the helm the kitchen for Independent Living has improved substantially. Desire and Tyra leading the charge to take orders and serve the residents has not gone unnoticed with their pleasant hospitality and attention to everyone. Much appreciation for a thankless job well done😊

As a provider of hospice services that has been blessed to care for residents at this facility, I cannot say enough good things about the entire Vitalia experience. The environment itself is beautiful, but that is not what sets Vitalia apart. What set it apart is the care provided by their team. Starting with their Director of Wellness, Michelle, and then pouring down through their entire team, they provide exceptional care to all of their residents. I highly recommend scheduling a tour if you are in need of additional care for yourself or a loved one.

My husband and I have been here 6 months and have experienced the exceptional performance of Taylor Presti in her position of server in our dining room. She has a wonderful attitude toward the residents and respects them and greets them with her warm smile. She is very efficient, thoughtful, kind, helpful to those who need help with the menu and patient.

We could not be happier with my Mothers care at Vitalia Rockside. In particular her favorite staff member is Tiesha. Mom had been a resident there for only a few weeks when Ti came on duty for a shift and quickly welcomed and embraced Mom. She had worked at a prior facility and it was a warm and comforting familiarity that made Mom so happy to see Ti on every shift she works The facilities are clean and modern and the many social activities from wheelchair volleyball to Friday cocktail happy hours continue to be a terrific place for Mom to thrive and safely enjoy and socialize. SHANAE! My mom told me she saw this lovely friendly care coordinator from a different facility ……. And I did not believe her! But it’s true Shanae is here at Vitalia and made my mom so happy. What a special person to be so caring.

Beautiful facility, but food service is terrible along with the quality of the food. Too many times my mother was left waiting for food or served cold food. There has been too many occasions where the cook didn’t show up for work, servers didn’t show up, and the latest was a strike by the food service employees. Also a great amount of turnover. But their fees keep going up. We are not getting what we are paying for, which we thought was going to be a quality living facility for my Mom.
