This place is great. The nurses take very good care of my grandmother. Any questions ( they know I have ALOT) lol they will make sure it's described n the most professional but understanding way. They interact with their clients very well, I've seen from outtings to movies to games. Makes my ❤️ happy. Very clean and the rooms are cozy for the clients. Friendly staff.

When I first started there,everybody cared about the residents and the care that they were given, but over these past years it has very badly went down hill and so has the quality of care. It is anymore all about the green rather than the quality of care and the fact that they got rid of over half of their staff and they expect everyone else to pick up shifts when people call off and they have no one to cover them.

My aunt was promised by management that if she moved out to Dorothy Love she would not have to maintain her property and that her whole family would have access to all of the amenities, three ponds, shelter house, Amos Center etc. The maintenance department always comes out and screams at family members and makes them leave if they fish in the ponds even though her legal contract states we can. She has to privately pay someone to pull the weeds in her flower beds even though she asked them to remove the flowers before moving in to make it easier to maintain. The security team harasses her caregivers and her house was not redone the way they promised her it would be. This facility charges thousands of dollars per month and does not follow through with their promises.

Our dad was in assisted living from June, 2019 until February, 2020 and was moved to West Wing due to a stroke until he passed away March 7.  He was only in West for about a month, but I tell you that no matter where my dad was, he had the best care you could ever ask for.  From the maintenance people to the administrative people, you could never ask for any better.  Everyone was fabulous.  If you are looking for a place to put your loved one, I would recommend Dorothy Love.  When you can't care for them yourself and you want someone that would care for them as you would, Dorothy Love is the place to be.
