Sagewood at Daybreak

We looked at a lot of places before settling on Sagewood for my mom. It was the best decision we could have made. The staff running it are wonderful and feel like family, and the residents have created the most warm wonderful environment. Not a single complaint after 3 years.

My experience at Sagewood at Daybreak was excellent. I moved my mother into the Independent Living community where she had a bright and spacious 2 bedroom apartment. The entire process was great from the first time I went in to tour the facility and met with Kathy S. and Will. Both were supportive, kind, and professional. I also want to commend the ladies working the front desk, especially Kathy V. and Lynette. They always greeted me with a smile, and were willing to help in every way possible. It takes a special type of person to work the front desk and do it well! My mother eventually needed hospice care, so we used Canyon Home Health and Hospice. It was comforting to see how the hospice team showed up as promised, treated my mother with care and dignity, and were so willing to help take care of her needs. I highly recommend Sagewood at Daybreak. They go above and beyond for their residents, in particular, Josh Bagely the Executive Director!

Kathy at front desk continues to demonstrate exceptional customer service, follow through skills, and attention to detail. Male CNAs in Memory Care are truly the most compassionate caregivers I have ever met. They treat each resident and guest like family. Some of these skills likely have little to do with training, but are rather a result of excellent hiring. These guys brought much to the table and leadership wisely recognized it. Congrats on these excellent hires. Damien and Caleb (?) are the heart and soul of Memory Care!

I interviewed three properties and chose Sagewood. Why? First impression was obvious. “This is the place for Barbara.” Joelle answered every question in a professional manner. She introduced the staff that would attend my wife finding them honest & caring. Barb has been at Sagewood for a year and the total staff’s commitment has not changed from the first day. I so appreciate all of them.

My mother-in-law spent her last months with Sagewood’s memory care team. She loved them and they loved her. She always felt like she was home. I cannot thank them enough for all the love and support they provided to our family! (Special shout out to Camden… mom especially loved you! Thanks for always walking with her)
