My mother and father have been living at Brookdale Stillwater for over 2 years now, and I couldn't more pleased!!! The staff is AMAZING, the facilities are remarkable, and their care is great!!! For my family this is the best location I could have placed them during their so-called golden years. If you are looking for a safe caring place for you loved one you can't go wrong with Brookdale Stillwater.

When my Dad, who was my mom's caretaker, fell terminally ill I had to quickly find an assisted living home that could be a home for both. What I found in Brookdale Stillwater I am so, so thankful for. I cannot share enough wonderful things about everyone there. From the hands-on and very caring Executive Director to every single staff member who knows me by name, they are amazing. From the moment my dad and mom moved in, I was beyond impressed with the level of care and attention they received. Everyone is incredibly kind, attentive, and cares for each resident just like a member of their own family. My Dad has since passed and I couldn't have asked for a better place full of the most genuine people to help me with my own grief while surrounding my mom with comfort in a place she can call home. The facility is spotless and well-maintained, with a welcoming atmosphere that makes it feel cozy and it is a pleasure to visit! The food is excellent—fresh, delicious, and varied, which is so important. The garden in the center is lovely and field trips are scheduled often. It’s also great to see that they offer a variety of truly fun activities that keeps residents engaged and happy!

My husband is only 62 years old and has had Alzheimer’s disease for 6 years. Recently, he started hallucinating and also began wandering. As I was unable to keep him safe at home, I was compelled to find an alternative to our situation. Brookdale employees made this difficult transition easier. The dementia patients are treated with kindness and respect. The environment is positive. We feel welcome to visit at any hour. The garden in the middle is accessible to residents at all times. We are thankful that Stillwater has a Brookdale Senior Living facility available.

Brookdale has become our second home and family. We knew our mom needed an assisted living as she was no longer able to do all of the things around the house, managing or even taking her own medications and she was in a season of social isolation. I began researching places near me and after visiting Brookdale and meeting Brandon, I knew it was the perfect fit. You have to ring the doorbell to gain access as well as to leave (just like your own home). So I felt mom would be secure and protected. The facility is always clean and they have a full time maintenance worker who is very friendly. The aides and nursing staff are top notch and quickly learned how to approach our mom and ensure she felt welcomed and received the best care. They have a hair stylist that comes twice a week and she visits with all of the residents and has also become like family. Our mom is on the highest level of care but it’s still very affordable. When you do the math of a 24hr day and 7 days a week cost per hour, it’s incredibly reasonable. Between $6-7/hour. And that includes all meals, laundry, activities, cleaning, showers, medication management. We are so happy to have found a smaller, and very welcoming community for our mom. Again, they are our second family now.
