BROOKDALE SUN PRAIRIE

Nice enough place but their care prices skyrocket once they have your loved one! I was told that the price you sign off on as part of the lease is " an estimate" and that cost hikes are effective immediately! I've had suggested increases of over $2000 and my loved one has only been there 3 days!

The staff here at Brookdale is always very helpful and friendly. Everyone has taken excellent care of my husband and understands his situation. The food is very good and when he’s hungry they will hand out snacks and drinks. His room is always clean and he is dressed and clean. I am very grateful to have found Brookdale! The communication is excellent and I feel that my husband is well taken care of. Brookdale is a very warm and comfortable home.

I had looked at 8-10 places to place my mother for a memory care facility, when I walked out of Brookdale my heart felt full! It is cozy and small. All of the staff are such loving and caring individuals with the residents and their families. I can always talk to the staff if I have any concerns. My mom is happy and loves all of the staff and residents. It’s like one big family. The food is great, they have a great activity director who is wonderful with the residents. Check it out, I hope you will be as happy as we are!

When a family begins the sad and stressful process of picking the right facility for their loved one, your thoughts are filled with questions of how the care will be. Will it be personal and will they value your family and what you share about your family? My sister did the initial footwork of looking into multiple facilities and we agreed that Brookdale Sun Prairie, WI was the best fit for our brother with memory issues. Brookdale is a smaller 15 bed facility that we immediately felt comfortable with. They took time to listen to us so they could get to know our brother as a person and more than just as a patient and took great care in personalizing our brother’s care. From the business person, to the nurse, the executive director, and the entire staff are a compliment to each other always patient and family focused. Brookdale says that they look at their residents as family, and I would have to say that I couldn’t agree more. Because of the intimacy of a smaller facility, they really have come to know our brother and all the residents at a personal level. From creative delicious food to the amazing recreation director a personalized inclusive approach is always part of the decision making process. I could go on, but I will close in saying that I would encourage anyone facing the difficult task of looking at care facilities for their loved one, I would give Brookdale Sun Prairie, WI, your first look. There really is loving professional care at all levels.

My brother moved to Brookdale in February. The staff has been amazing to work with. The administration as well as the primary caregivers are more than kind. There are always people smiling and encouraging residents as I visit any time of the day. My brother has a very large, friendly dog and Mack has been welcomed to visit as often as possible.
