Villas of SCR at The Woodlands

Two of the most precious people in my life were entrusted to the care of Villas of Sycamore Creek Ranch at The Woodlands (5000 S Alden Bridge Drive in The Woodlands). My father did not have memory care issues but my beloved step-mom of 30+ years had dementia and when she was moved from Hermann Memorial after hip surgery to the Villas I spoke with Stacy Goode (the manager) about accepting my dad once he decided to go into hospice care. She said "of course". The facility is well staffed and treated my dad like he was family. Stacy was wonderful and my dad knew he was loved. Even better, my step-mom spent her final days knowing she was protected and loved. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Stacy, Cara, Cassie, Kristi, Money, Ashley D and Ashley H, Stormy, Kendria, Jadarius, Shauna and Chris took wonderful care of my folks and my step-mom had fun in her final year. Oasis Hospice Susan Hawkins and Nurse Stephanie worked seamlessly with Stacy Goode at Villas and I will never be able to repay them for the peace I had in the folks final days!

My parents have been here for 1 year, recently my dad passed. The loving care he was given in his last moments were so sweet and compassionate. My mom was given extra loving care after my dad’s demise. The caregivers were filled (and still are) with kindness and understanding. We are very pleased with the staff and our home manager. Our home is run with loving care. Any concerns are discussed with manager, who always explains or works to resolve in the best way possible.

The team at the Villas take incredible care of my father who has advanced dementia. They allow me to be his daughter while they can do the care giving and harder work, while maintaining his dignity. I couldn’t recommend them more highly. Thank you Ted, Stacy, Kara, Kasey, Stormy, Shawna and all the others who love my father as if he was their own.

Sycamore Creek Ranch has some good communities for seniors, but this one, The Villas, is the best. Stacy is an amazing manager with true care & compassion.
