My profession has given me the privilege of visiting numerous memory care facilities daily, and I can confidently attest that Oak Hills Terrace stands out as a shining example of excellence. The staff is truly exceptional, there's always a warm welcome at the front desk, and the same welcome is given by the Executive Director, Marketing Director, Wellness Director, and Activity Director. Everyone exudes a sense of belonging and warmth. They constantly have different events and activities, allowing residents to thrive daily and live life to the fullest. The caretakers are compassionate, patient, and kind, which is reflected in the love residents have for them. The spacious rooms and impeccable housekeeping create a comforting environment that is always clean and smelling its best. My heart is so full to be a part of this community and to know that there are still places where I would trust to take care of my own family. Keep it up, Oak Hills Terrace, you are a blessing to so many.

For over two years my mom lived at Oak Hills Terrace Memory Care. It was a long and heart wrenching decision to move her there but turned into the best thing for her late in her life dealing with Alzheimer’s Disease. The staff at Oak Hills are so kind and so caring…it’s more like a big extended family living in community. The care is exceptional and the activities are meaningful and engaging. The activity’s director, Stella, is the BEST!! My mom was such a social person she just loved it and everyone there. On March 16th she passed away peacefully in her sleep with family by her side. We are eternally grateful for the care provided on every level. We miss visiting there already. As a nurse who spent many years working in long-term care settings, I can honestly say that Oak Hills is a place where people love to live and work…and that’s a rare find.

Wonderful facility for your loved one to call home. Staff members are wonderful and work hard to provide excellent care for every resident. Activities keeps all residents active within community providing activities that are exciting for all residents. Admin, Marketing and DON also work hard to ensure all residents are well taken care of and hold events for family to spend quality time with their loved ones. Concierge service provided greets everyone and directs them to where or who they need to speak with. Cannot say enough good things about this facility.

Oak Hills has been a tremendous blessing to our family. My Aunt has been a resident since June 2024. I toured several facilities and have never regretted making this place her home. The staff goes above & beyond to get to know the residents and provide a safe & loving environment for each one. Thank you Oak Hills!

This is the most comprehensive Memory Care facility in Tyler Tx that I was able to find. I toured so many Asst Living/Memory facilities in Tyler as I wanted to give my mom one last attempt at Asst Living to prolong the memory care call. It was a painful and very heart felt issue for me. I swore I would never put mom in a memory care, however, the asst facility she was in said it was time (no hurry but time)…..that just didn’t compute with me. I researched, re-toured, rediscussed till I was beat up and beat down. I was just short of stopping my life and moving mom in with me. Which mom is so positive happy and active all day. But it gut punched me. I swore/prayed this would never happen……then the blessing showed up that Oak Hills was a full spacious Memory Care…..not a hybrid. Mom had the whole facility to move around in as she wanted, not limited to a hybrid property where only maybe 20-25% is memory. She has the whole property because Oak Hills is a 100% Memory Care place. Mom can roam and run the entire property, my brothers were needing answers as well. So, Oak Hills it is since June 2025! The team is young, phenomenal with love, compassionate and total respect for the elderly. They even have a National Day, well in Tyler, called “Old People Are Cool”. The mission statement of this company is definitely focused on the elderly. “Old People Are Cool” Memory Care is never where we want our loved ones to be. But Oaks Hills is freaking cool with it and showing/proving that Old People are Cool is the best for my mom…..she is happy energetic on the go and still they keep up with daily updates of mom.
