New Perspective Waconia

As a New Perspective team member, I thought I’d choose another community for my dad-but after visiting two other places , nothing felt as warm or welcoming as New Perspective Waconia. From my first call with Natalie & Trevor, I truly felt supported. When my dad’s health declined, the Waconia team went above and beyond to ensure he was comfortable and cared for with compassion and dignity. Elizabeth, Cece and Mackenzie were especially kind, treating him with such tenderness and respect. I’m deeply grateful to the entire team for their professionalism, warmth, and genuine care. They made an incredibly difficult time a little easier.

We moved both of our parents to New Perspectives earlier this year. Dad to Memory Care and mom to Assisted Living. It was a stressful process for the entire family. 6 months later we all agree this was the best decision we ever made. We continue to be impressed and extremely thankful for the level of care provided to our parents. The staff continues to be amazing and accommodating. They clearly care and love what they do. Thanks for taking care of mom and dad!

New Perspective Waconia has been a godsend for my mother and family. When I initially met with Susannah many months ago, the plan was for both my mom and dad to move in. We had the apartment all picked out, and our move-in date was set. However, my dad unexpectedly passed away before they could move in. The staff has been so welcoming and sweet to my mom. Knowing that she has people like that around her makes this new part of her life easier. From the sympathy card sent to our family before she even moved in to the “Welcome to New Perspective” flowers hand delivered to her door. They have gone above and beyond for her. Communication is really outstanding as well. Any questions or concerns I have had have been dealt with quickly and effectively. She is very pleased with her new home. She feels welcome, happy and most importantly safe.

My experience with the team at New Perspective has been incredible! I own a home care agency in California so I deal with families in crisis all the time. When I found myself having to deal with some very intense and time sensitive deadlines with my 90 year old mother, I needed a team that could help me navigate the complexities of transferring care for mom to their facility. The team at New Perspective was flexible and responsive to the needs of my family. Everyone was so professional!! I highly recommend this facility. If I owned a home care agency in Minnesota, I would have no reservations about recommending New Perspective to any family I was working with.....they would be in good hands:-)

Our loved one spent 7 weeks in the Memory Care Unit and we were very happy with her care. The communication we received from her nurses was excellent and we were always notified of any health issues as soon as they happened. Whenever we walked into the entrance of New Perspective, we always saw a vibrant community with the residents enjoying their day and many smiles among them. We will be forever indebted to Tammie Graupmann, on the NP staff, for all her help guiding us through a very difficult situation from our first phone call to New Perspective until placement. She went above and beyond, no matter what day or time, and we are so grateful for all her kindness and advice.
