Sunrise of Wayland

My mother has been living at Sunrise of Wayland for two years now. She feels comfortable and safe. The facility itself is a great fit. It’s a relatively small and feels more personal. My mother finds the layout easy to navigate. She found my aunt’s large assisted living confusing and overwhelming. The building itself is set back from the noisy road and well landscaped with a paved walkway around the building with benches to rest. I’m there at least four days a week at different times and there’s always staff members present. They are always engaging and friendly. I am happy with the care she receives. Lukas at the nursing station takes time to update me on any issues or new observations. When I needed to go away with my husband’s family the Care Coordinator, Lisa went above and beyond to keep me updated and made sure I could enjoy the time away without worry. Heather the executive director is always available and easy to talk to as well. Overall I feel the staff has made my mother feel comfortable there and she can get the personal attention she needs.

Sunrise of Wayland is a wonderful, happy & welcoming community. Beautifully landscaped & tucked into a peaceful corner of Wayland. It is a warm, tastefully decorated homey environment with daily fun activities, delicious meals & quiet areas to read or chat with friends/family. This was a difficult time for our family but the wonderful staff at Sunrise was so supportive and helpful it made mom's transition much easier; ours too. Our mother also had many medical needs which were easily managed by a very caring staff. We were at ease knowing mom was well cared for and that she was happy & comfortable there. I highly recommend Sunrise of Wayland to anyone looking for Assisted living or memory care for a loved one.

Sunrise Wayland is a wonderful senior living community. The staff are caring and work hard to ensure their residents have meaningful and purposeful days. The grounds are beautiful and the building is cozy and welcoming. A great place to reside for seniors who want to be engaged and happy.

Sunrise of Wayland has been home to for my mother since 2019, in the memory care unit. From the team in the memory care unit, to the front desk, to management, to the nursing staff, everyone has been beyond professional, courteous, kind, caring, and attentive. I know my mother, despite her condition, feels loved and cared for.

Amazing staff and care! The decision to help a loved one transition to assisted care can be challenging. We are so glad our Mom chose Sunrise. The intake process was straightforward and transparent, the staff is incredibly caring and helpful, mom says the food is fantastic, and there are engaging and fun activities every day. When we contact staff with a question, we always receive a quick reply, and the facility is smaller than many, meaning each resident is known to the staff and are treated respectfully. We are lucky to have found Sunrise of Wayland!
