I moved my dad into Commonwealth Senior Living in February 2024 and could not be happier! We moved him from a memory care facility into personal care at Commonwealth. His memory issues are not too severe and we really felt he could thrive in a less restrictive environment. The decision to move him was stressful though and trusting new strangers with his care again caused me a lot of anxiety. However, the staff at Commonwealth immediately eased my mind. They performed a thorough evaluation before the move to ensure they could provide the care he needed and from the first time we stepped into the building I got a feeling like we were home. His room is spacious and they let us decorate it exactly as we wanted. My dad enjoys the meals and the activities. He has even been out on a few trips and really enjoyed himself! I had the pleasure of being at one of the family nights also- we had lovely entertainment and a great meal. We also take advantage of all the community spaces to play games and hang out. I seriously cannot say enough great things about the staff as well. Every single person is overly friendly and accommodating. I feel so welcome every time I am there and I know my dad feels like he belongs. If you are wondering if this place is right for you or your family member, trust me, this is a great place! Oh and I almost forgot about the view! The pond is amazing! We love watching the ducks and swans and can’t wait to enjoy some more outside time!
Our family recently placed a family member at Commonwealth. The experience has been amazing. Our family member unexpectedly went into the hospital before moving in. Commonwealth's team worked with the hospital for an easy transfer to Commonwealth. The staff is smart, friendly, kind and cares about their residents. Great experience. For the benefit of your loved one, visit!
Family Night was awesome the other night May 25th …..with my mom Nancy Collins who lives in sweet memories over 4 years now ….it’s really nice to come downstairs to piano lounge and eat to get her off the memory floor and dining room up there which can be a little depressing sometimes …..music and food were awesome !!!!
I cannot express enough gratitude for the superb care my grandfather (CW-343) received at Commonwealth Senior Living from the day he arrived until his peaceful passing. The staff’s unwavering compassion and dedication made all the difference during his time there. From the very first day, he was treated with respect, dignity, and kindness. Every staff member ensured his comfort and well-being, consistently going above and beyond. The facility itself was always clean, warm, and welcoming, creating an environment that felt like home for him as well as for my family and I as we visited. The care team was thorough and attentive, keeping us informed and involved in every step of his care plan. They were not only knowledgeable but also incredibly compassionate. As his health declined, they handled every transition with sensitivity and grace, ensuring that he was as comfortable as possible. I will always be grateful for the care and love shown to my grandfather during his time at Commonwealth Senior Living. They gave him dignity in his final chapter and supported my family in ways that we will never forget. If you’re seeking compassionate, high-quality care for a loved one, I urge you to reach out to Commonwealth Senior Living.
I and my family are in the midst of placing our mother into assisted living. I and two other siblings live in Dallas, TX. It is very stressful trying to make these arrangements long distance. Amy and Mandy have been exceptional! Mandy performed my mother’s admission assessment and I questioned her assessed level of care (I thought she should have been rated a higher level). Mandy spent a good amount of time with me explaining each section of her assessment. She was caring and understanding and thorough. Amy has been very supportive and empathized with our trying to make this transition long distance. I highly recommend this community to any of my family and friends!
