Brookdale Windsor

I can’t put into words how wonderful Brookdale Windsor was for my mom. The staff was so loving, caring, helpful, and attentive to her. The food was great. Good variety of choices. She loved the desserts. There is a ton of activities. It always looked and smelled clean. It was such an amazing environment for my mom to be in. Thank you Brookdale Windsor. THANK YOU

Martha the manager is a caring person who runs a tight ship. It is a small community. I feel my mother is in a safe most important and environment is clean . The entire staff is warm, thoughtful and professional. I only wish the Brookdale corp would give Windsor location a larger budget for more activities and a bus driver for fun day trips.Running an assisted living is very challenging with so many needs to be met. Cost vs care ,Windsor is a clean, safe and a loving environment.The location is great my mother can walk to the store, post office, cleaners, hair salon, lunch ect. without crossing a street with cars. The garden is wonderful for all to enjoy .I wrote this years ago they may have more activities now.

Truly great care in a beautiful location with staff who give residents humane, friendly, reliable support. We are so fortunate to have been referred to Brookdale Windsor for my uncle—and he is so happy there! The food is very good—seriously! I've been pleased with every meal I've had with my uncle there; fresh vegetables properly cooked and good seasoning. The facility is clean and well-laid out with a good variety of places to be when not in your room. Smart hiring decisions have clearly been made as everyone I've interacted with or heard about from my uncle since he moved in about two and a half months ago has been good or excellent at what they do. If they did what they did and that's all they did, it'd be a great place, but on top of that they are kind, friendly, funny, and practical in working with my uncle and with me. It's hard to imagine how you could find a better place for your later life. Highly, highly recommended. There is at least one and I think at least two low-income rooms. Base rate is room / food / utilities. Medical care costs are extra, and are charged for the month if used at all (which can be tough in a month with a hospital stay where the resident wasn't there the whole time). The building abuts a creekside area, so that provides a pleasant view and birdsong to windows on that side. Safeway is across the street, with a UPS Store (with notary!) also in that complex. Very convenient location a short way from Highway 101, but quiet.

My sister and I moved our 87yr old mother into Brookdale Senior Living in Windsor. Our mother is safe and comfortable in her beautiful sunlit apartment. The staff is supportive and compassionate, and we are grateful to all the lovely caregivers and competent staff. In particular, I want to thank Don Rodreick, the business office manager, and the gracious Justine Malpas, the sales manager.

So grateful for Brookdale Windsor's wonderful care and coordinated support from the entire staff including the Concierge, Health & Wellness Director, Activities Director and Business Office Manager and the many others who pay attention to details and provide a lovely environment for aging gracefully. Health and safety is a priority and the many activities and respectful care in a peaceful environment make all the difference.
