We are senior downsizing and relocation experts and this is a great community in Woodland Hills/Canoga Park area. Their assisted living and memory care are intertwined, so there is a very free flowing feeling about the community. The studio apartments are quite spacious and the caregivers are wonderful. Susan the executive director loves what she does and it shows!

We visited The Preserve yesterday and met Justin. The community is clean, beautiful, and in a very safe neighborhood — a place I’d feel good about for any senior. Justin really cares about helping seniors. He even helped a senior who couldn’t afford The Preserve by connecting him to us so we could find another safe option. That says a lot about his heart and the kind of person he is. We’ve now started a partnership with The Preserve, and I’m excited to work with them to help more seniors. Thank you, Justin, for everything you do!

I had moved my dad into memory care at a different facility that was terrible despite its fancy digs and hefty price tag. I worked with a local placement company (shout out to Total Senior- they were amazing!) that recommended The Preserve. They assured me that new management had really turned things around and that this was a great option for my father with dementia. After touring and observing, I decided to move him in. It was the best decision! The improvement he made after coming here was huge. He went from being withdrawn and using a wheelchair to engaged and walking around again. That is not an exaggeration. It’s a testament to what good care and community can do. The key here is really the compassionate caregivers and management that is responsive and holds both staff and themselves accountable. You can see from the interactions with the residents that the caregivers take the time to get to know them and genuinely care about their wellbeing. I have a camera in my dad’s room, and the nurse even asked me to send him a clip that he could review with his team for training purposes. I appreciate that level proactivity. Is it the picture of perfection? No. I don’t know that any place can be. Sometimes there’s a random piece of laundry that goes missing or shows up in my dad’s closet. Sometimes meal service is a little slow. But any issues that have come up get a swift and thorough response from the team there. And honestly, those little things really mean nothing to me compared with the peace of mind that comes with knowing my dad is safe, clean, happy, and healthy. The property is lovely and the residents can move about freely inside and outside in the nice courtyard. The residents have the chance to socialize and spend time with each other in different settings, which I think is also really good for everyone. The meals there are varied and really good. Not really good for assisted living. Really good period. There is a community of family members here, too. It’s nice to have their active involvement and to see families look out for each other’s loved ones. I feel very lucky to have found The Preserve, and I would definitely recommend it for anyone trying to find care.

While no facility is the same as 'home', the Preserve comes as close as you can get. The building and facilities are well kept (the courtyard is special); the staff is caring; the administration is attentive; the activities are plentiful and fun; the food is fresh. We are grateful that our family member is happy here! We do visit daily and at all different times - this has been a positive experience in a most difficult time of life. Thanks to Total Senior for helping us find The Preserve.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this facility! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a clean, welcoming, and beautifully maintained environment that truly feels like a second home. The amenities are top-notch, with everything you could possibly need to support your fitness and wellness goals. Whether it’s the state-of-the-art equipment, the variety of classes offered, or the friendly atmosphere, this place has it all. A huge shoutout to Frances, the Membership Director, who makes the experience even more exceptional. Frances is incredibly professional, approachable, and genuinely cares about every member’s journey. She goes above and beyond to ensure that each person feels valued and supported. Her attention to detail and personalized service make joining and being part of the facility seamless and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a place that combines outstanding facilities with warm, personalized service, this is it — and Frances is the heart of it all!
