In 2006, Gina and Jim packed up their California life and family and moved to Castle Rock to make a difference in the senior community here in Colorado. Through our passion, drive, and community support, we now own three Assisted Living homes and operate a full service Home Care division for seniors throughout Douglas County (as well as Arapahoe, Denver, El Paso, Elbert and Jefferson counties). Gina has more than 16 years of experience in Assisted Living & Home Care, starting in California where she managed several assisted living facilities in Orange County and started Assured Companion Care, Inc., a successful private California Corporation. Gina’s experience amplifies our shared belief that seniors who are able to age in a comfortable, at-home setting (with the necessary medical support of Home Health and Hospice) are the happiest. Jim has served as our Vice President for 12+ years and has offered his extensive management experience to ensure this organization continues to grow & serve the community in the best way it can. He understands the importance of nutrition for our residents, so he is an integral part of the food delivery systems we have created, and also takes the lead on our resident safety & building maintenance. Angie joined our team in 2014 to assist with the day-to-day operations. Her experience as a nurse provides a major benefit to the seniors in our care. With extensive clinical experience, there really isn’t a situation Angie can’t handle. Even more than her experience, Angie’s story ignites our passion to care for others. She was hit by a drunk driver on her way to medical school and the accident turned her world upside down. She discovered through the experience that she was always meant to be a nurse, and the level of empathy and understanding she now has provides a deep support for our seniors and their families. Jim and Gina’s daughters, Cassy and Ally, are also a part of our team. They are both graduates of CSU Pueblo and have a passion for helping seniors and are driven to make a positive impact on our community (we guess you could say that runs in the family)! More than being business owners, we are also daughters & sons, granddaughters & grandsons, sisters & brothers, moms & dads – and we have united together to keep that family feeling throughout all of our Assisted Living homes & Home Care services.
