Popes Kids Place

Pope’s Place provides individualized care for children and young adults with exceptional medical and behavioral needs to strengthen them, their families, and the community. Pope's Place has three unique programs; Eagles House Pediatric Group Home for ages birth-18 years. Providing residential, transitional, and respite care, Eagles House is a 24-hour nursing facility for medically complex and fragile children with special health care needs. Vivian’s House Young Adult Group Home for ages 18 and over. Vivian’s House is a residential group home, a transitional facility, and a respite home for young adults who still need a high level of nursing care, but no longer need acute hospitalization. Physical Therapy that offers services to all our residents. One of the many services offered in our Physical Therapy Center is aquatic physical therapy in a specialized pool. Water has several unique properties that can help our medically fragile residents enjoy their physical therapy treatments without pain and discomfort. Both Centers offer; Transitional and residential care, 24-hour nursing care in small group home setting, Individualized treatment plans that include, physical, occupational and speech therapies, social work, and education. Care for children and young adults whose life expectancy is known to be limited. When possible, our residents may attend public school, participate in recreational and cultural outings, and interact with other individuals. For those who do not have family, we are dedicated to providing love, care, and support to the best of our abilities.
