California CareGivers who is based out of the Land Park , Greenhaven area has been an absolute blessing for our family. They have been taking care of my dad, who has Parkinson’s, and the level of care and compassion they provide is truly exceptional. Every caregiver we’ve interacted with has been professional, kind, and genuinely caring—not just doing a job, but forming a real connection with my dad. It gives our family such peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. One of the biggest reliefs for us has been how they handle the billing process with CalPERS Long Term Care Insurance. They direct bill the insurance company, which means we don’t have to worry about being the middle person or dealing with the stress of reimbursements. That alone has saved us so much time and energy. They also went out of their way and helped my mom in an emergency situation. We’re deeply grateful for the support California CareGivers has provided. They’ve made a difficult journey feel a lot more manageable, and we can't recommend them highly enough.

CA CareGivers are not only attentive to my needs, but they have also helped me to regain a lot of the strength that I lost previously while in the rehab facility. Carmen is more than just a glorified “sitter”. She has also been there to encourage and motivate me to become stronger and more active in my daily activities. I’m very grateful to have them helping me throughout the day.

California CareGivers has been taking care of my Mom since the beginning of the year, and we really like them. They are very easy to communicate with and so far, have always been instantly accessible to us. Since they have been assisting us at home, both her personality and her physical health in general have improved immensely, thanks in part to her caretakers “pushing” (nudging?) her to be more active when they are around. We are grateful for all that you have done for us.

In January our Mom hit Medicare’s 100-day limit for skilled nursing coverage, so we chose to bring her home instead of continuing to pay the facility out of pocket. This was despite the fact that she still needed someone accessible & by her side to help with some of her daily tasks. After reading some reviews, we decided to give CA CareGivers a chance and gave them a call. They made an appt for us with John for the initial interview, and once we chatted with him in person, we felt that they would be a good fit for our situation & signed on. They had someone available to our house 2 days later. Since then, her permanent caregivers have been nothing short of awesome. They’ve helped her to be more active, and as a result, she’s gained back a lot of the strength that she lost while being mostly bedridden at the skilled nursing facility. We did have one hiccup with her having a personality clash with one of the initial caregivers. This was easily solved by us reaching out to their office, and having them schedule someone else in their place. Everyone there that I have talked to from the start has assured us they want us to be completely comfortable and confident with whoever is in our home and taking care of her, and from my experience thus far, that is 100% true.
