Helping Our Seniors

Martha and the staff at Helping Our Seniors were a god-send to me and my old friend last spring. Martha personally guided my friend through the registration process and then provided a quiet, efficient young woman for light house keeping and what cooking my friend could not do for himself. She went well beyond the call of duty with extra cleaning and organizing to make life more comfortable for my friend. We both appreciated very much this agency's flexibility, efficiency, reasonable charges, and warm understanding of our situation. I highly recommend them and may need to call on them for myself before too long.

We met with Martha and a couple of other companies for home health care for our Mom during the past summer. Mom and Dad were part of the process and they chose Helping Our Seniors. Mom received great care from several of the staff! We were blessed to have Mom be at home until she passed.

My father has been in the Assisted Living facility at Chandler Estates for 4 years. Originally,they provided transportation to Dad for his Doctor visits and other appointments but as Dad became more frail, we needed additional care. Originally, they provided over night service for nearly a year but that has been upgraded and now, for more than a year, they have provided 24 hour a day care to augment the staff at the Chandler. Without them, Dad would probably have needed to go into the Nursing Home and would not have received the kind of wonderful, personal attention that the care givers provided by Helping Our Seniors provide. These wonderful people have treated Dad as if he were one of their own family; since we are 2500 miles away, the peace of mind and attention they have paid has meant the world to me, my wife and my brother. The leadership team understands the value of communication (good and bad) and have always been there to answer our questions and to quickly resolve any issues that arise. We simply could not have provided this high level of care for Dad without them. They have, truly, become an extended part of our family. A wonderful service.

Helping Our Seniors did a great job for my longtime friend. She had quite a few medical issues and was in pain much of the time. The caretakers at Helping Our Seniors really had their hands full with her. They went above and beyond what their regular duties included. They were caring and sympathetic...even on her worst days. My friend passed away recently. Thank you to all of the ladies who cared for her...

My mother passed this past August. Going roughly two years back, we used HOS to help my mother. We had a total of 4 ladys come.. One of them in my opinion stole my mothers wheel chair, one was very helpful to my mother but she did not last because at times my mother was hard to deal with. The last lady in my opinion was lazy and also two of my mothers checks came up missing and one was cashed. We made a police report. Be careful with this company and make sure you screen the persons coming to your loved ones house.
