River City Home Care is managed by a company called Honor which is completely incompetent. Lisa Autry from River City Home Care initially met with me and my father and I was impressed with her knowledge and ability to address all my questions; however, after we signed up for 24 hour home health care, we had to deal with Honor. Numerous times they did not have caretakers available to care for my bedridden father and asked if I could get someone to stay with him. Most of the caretakers that came were very mediocre (in fairness, they were a couple that were caring) and even the hospice nurses wanted to know why they weren't more helpful. Eventually, we fired River City Home health care and hired another company that was amazing. The difference in knowledge and care from the new agency's caretakers was astonishing. If you hire a company make sure that you know who manages it. If you get on Honor's website they have mostly 1-star reviews. I wish I would have done better research.
An excellent job in assisting me in filling out a claim for my Long Term Care Insurance. It can be overwhelming to understand these claim forms and Lisa Autry assisted with such knowledge. When my wife was hospitalized and could no longer provide my help, River City Home Care provided me with much needed relief.
I’ve had the great pleasure in working with George and now Lisa Autry. Their team is amazingly professional, reliable, and very prompt with following up with families. They’re always there when I need them. I would recommend them to any family that is in need of home care services. I would trust them with my own personal family as well.
