Elfin Services is a family owned and operated business started in 1998 by Yvonne and Steve Polkow, after they spent several years helping older friends work through some difficult and complex personal issues. The Polkow’s realized there was great need for high quality advocacy for the elderly, and for experienced, compassionate Care Management and Caregiving services. Elfin Services has grown steadily and carefully since its inception. Today the Agency employs several Home Care Professionals, including Care Managers, 40+ Caregivers, and has an ever growing passion to help our Seniors through their journey in aging. We provide a diverse range of services to the aging population. Elfin Services adheres to the highest ethical guidelines including those of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers, the Society of Certified Senior Advisors, the Washington Home Care Association of America, as well as maintaining regulation with local rules and Washington State Laws to remain in compliance with the the Department of Health. As a local company, Elfin eliminates the oversight of a large corporation allowing for more flexibility and customization of care, which ultimately results in more of a personal touch and connection with our clients and family members.
