Home-Stay Assisted Care

We have used Home-Stay for 4 years to help me take care of my quadriplegic husband. All the caregivers that have taken care of him have done an excellent job tending to all his needs in a very competent manner. They are well-trained and have never come close to dropping him; they are very careful and attentive with him at all times. They prepare meals for him, change bandages, perform range of motion exercises, help him with his respiratory exercises, bathe, dress and groom him. They all competently use an electric hoist to transfer him from his bed to his power chair. Penny and Suzie were very helpful and responsive when I had to unexpectedly schedule additional service times when I had to leave town. All of his caregivers are also quick to fill any down time with doing housekeeping chores or laundry for me. My husband and I are very satisfied with the service that Home-Stay Assisted Care provides!

We have used the various services of Home-Stay for several years to assist my aging parents. They have wonderful employees who take great care to ensure the well being of my Mom & Dad. The caregivers are courteous, attentive and always on time. The office staff is very accommodating especially working with challenging schedules. I would recommend Home-Stay Assisted Care's services to anyone who needs or has loved ones who need special care.

Please use this business with caution. Everyone there is very nice but the first time I had them help take my father to dialysis they dropped him on the floor. We sent the caregiver home and cancelled future visits. Rather than call to make sure he was alright- They began hounding us about the bill. I would not recommend them for anything other than sitting with the elderly and maybe doing some laundry. Extremely shocked at the level of care. I never write reviews but consider this a public safety service.

I would not recommend this company for any family. My husband came to Oklahoma a year ago to help his parents and Pennys company had been coming here for a few years. My in laws were in terrible shape. Their house was a total mess, the caregivers were only feeding them hotdogs and potato salad. My mother in law had a bad UTI and kept falling. They had thousands of dollars stolen from them. And Jewerly but it was always blamed on my father in laws dementia. When I showed up, there were a lot of issues because I did home-care for 40 years and I addressed what I saw wrong and I was considered a trouble maker. There were a few good girls, but most were here just doing nothing. Penny also raised her personal rate from 50 a hour to 75 without saying anything and I noticed it. She seems money hungry and really doesn’t care about her patients. Beware! She will pull off the nice act but it’s just that! A Act!

This agency has been taking care of my family for a long time. Not sure what the folks with the negative review are saying. The staff in my parents home have been excellent. Home is always clean and even their meals are prepared for them! Couldn't be happier.
