VISITING ANGELS

While I have experienced some variation, I have had some wonderful Visiting Angels who were able to help me around my apartment and also drive me to PT and so on. I also have appreciated the company. The schedulers listen to needs and to feedback. I recommend this service.

Visiting Angels’ Mt Airy MD office very quickly set an urgently needed schedule of in-home care aides to help my mother through an acute need and their aides continue to be of periodic assistance to her. Their staff team and aides have been professional, caring and very responsive. Thank you!

A Visiting Angel has been assisting my wife and I for nearly four years and we could not be more pleased with her. Not only is she competent, punctual and conscientious in her work, she has become a friend, sharing family photos, wedding pictures and Facebook posts. We are equally appreciative of the Visiting Angels support staff. In a world where it often seems like customer service is nonexistent, the Angels care coordinators are consistently responsive, cheerful and helpful.

I have had 2 separate experiences with 2 different elderly people in need of in home care with Visiting Angels. I cannot tell you enough wonderful, positive things about Visiting Angels agency. Angels are scheduled in 12 hour shifts from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. or can be arranged to suit other needs in different time frames. Angels arrive ready to take over. Angels pass meds at appropriate times, bathe clients, perform all oral care & personal hygiene, dress, change clothing, all housekeeping including bed made & changed, all laundry, vacuuming, mopping, meals, snacks, dishes, removal of trash everyday, accompany to appts, clear, accurate, & immediate reporting of events & changes with clients to Nurse Supervisor. I cannot impress enough on how well the Angels perform their duties. I highly recommend this agency.

We got in contact with Visiting Angels about 3 years ago for my father, who was still living independently in his house. However, he was getting so he needed some help. The Visiting Angel we ended up with, Janice, has quite simply become a cherished addition to our family. She is just the nicest person, and very knowledgeable about providing care. Eventually, Dad got so he needed round the clock assistance so we moved him to assisted living. However, we kept Janice on for him twice a week primarily as companion care. She takes him out for ice cream or a meal at his favorite restaurant, and he really looks forward to Janice's visits. Dad's quality of life would not be nearly as good were it not for the great, cheerful and compassionate care he receives from his Visiting Angel Janice!
