We are an in-home care agency taking...
Helping Hands has been amazing for my son! Having a special needs child is a challenge but one that is made easier with great qualified help. That is one thing Helping Hands NKY has provided. Amy who is the nurse that helps and works with us is amazing. The focus and attention she gives to my son is beyond anything we have experienced thus far. We have worked with other agencies and none were as attentive as what we get with Helping Hands! We can not express our gratitude enough for David, Amy and the entire staff at Helping Hands!
Having two children with special needs is difficult as you can imagine. A 5 and 6 year old who need constant care and stimulation. As single parent that is more than a challenge. Having Helping hands be available to provide the staff that is qualified, friendly, and knowledgable is such a relief. Knowing that they give their full attention to my children definitely allieviates so much worry from me, that i can go to work and know my Children are in great Helping Hands.
It's a shame that this group is as judgemental as it is. People are literally solely assisted and denied help based upon your physical appearance & information on your Facebook profile. So many people are denied being a group member while also being blocked after basing an opinion by visiting your Facebook profile picture. It's physically sickening. Even if you're lucky enough to receive help from this organization, your self worth will take a hit from it by their interrogation during the process Making it known what they truly think about the people they're supposed to be helping. It's so clear that these people do this for the authority or "power" enstead of the goodness of their hearts. I literally donated material that was worth more money than the things I received from them and still got blocked after they met me in person. If an investigation was started, it would come to light everything I'm saying is true. It can't be me if more than 6 out of 10 people who are familiar with this group claim the same thing. It's such a shame. It doesn't matter how much you donate back or if you've proven to really need assistance. I really need to find a Way to have this investigated so changes can be made because people really need this. It could be life changing to those of us in need. If someone has an idea of how it could be done I'd love to try to move forward with trying to make it happen. This organization is biased because of several women's personal opinions and hidden motives who run it.
The women running this are beyond judgemental. Even when they assist with your needs, they'll have you walking away feeling horribly about yourself. It's as if they do this for the power and not out of goodness of their hearts. It's sad
