Unexpectedly my mother had a stroke about a week before I had to leave town for a trade show. She had a hospital stay and was released 4 days before I had to leave town. Desperate and not knowing what I was going to do, I called Mike from Qualicare. I’ve known him personally for about a year. He has such a heart for people. He is kind, understanding and best of all patient. He was able to make time for me to discuss my options on the phone. He then came and met my mom and did a very thorough intake. He asked lots a of questions of my mom and me and then really listened to our answers. What I loved about the intake was that you could see he cared about what my mom wanted and what was important to her. It wasn’t about fitting my mom into his box, but about he and his staff conforming to my mother’s needs and desires. Where do you get that kind of service these days!?!?! Mike matched her with a FANTASTIC person care giver. He knew almost instantly which one of his care givers would be a good fit personality wise. Betty was AMAZING! She took such good care of my mom she was starting to make me look bad!! ;-). She was kind, funny and cared for my mother so well. I was able to work know my mother was enjoying who she was with and being able to stay in her own home and her own bed!!! If you ever need care for a loved one, do yourself and your loved one a favor and have Mike take care of it. You won’t regret it!!!!

I did quite a bit of research to find in-home care and companionship for my mom. They take the time to find the right fit and my mom is enjoying the time she spends with her caregiver. They have an on-staff nurse that visited my mom to assess her needs which was one of the important concerns I had when looking for this type of business. My sister and I are very happy to have found this place. important
