At Comfort Keepers Grayslake, we have been providing exceptional care services to individuals and their families in Grayslake, McHenry County, Northern Lake County, and the surrounding areas of Illinois since 2003. Owner Dave Eggering opened our Grayslake branch after seeing the need for high quality in-home care services within his own family. While he lived close to his grandmother’s home, he was able to stop by whenever she needed and help her with small tasks around the house. However, once he moved away, he had to watch from afar as his parents struggled to take care of his grandparents. Dave was working in research for a pharmaceutical company and saw the need for quality in-home care more and more, outside of his own family. This eventually brought Dave to the realization that he wanted to provide the type of care for which he saw such a widespread need. He pursued this passion by starting Comfort Keepers Grayslake, committing to making it the in-home care company with the most well-trained caregivers who would embody the Comfort Keepers difference and fill the need for high quality care. We are proud to say that we have maintained our mission since we started providing care in 2003. Comfort Keepers Grayslake has always had a mission to provide our clients with the highest quality of life through care services. We are committed to treating each of our clients with the respect and dignity they deserve, and care for them as though we were caring for a member of our own family. Our strength lies in our hiring, training, and transparency policies. We conduct a thorough screening and interviewing process to identify the best in-home caregivers. Only those who pass each step of this process go on to complete intensive training to deliver our special brand of home care. What truly sets our care team apart, though, is the natural gift and passion of caring for others. Our caregivers are also committed to complete transparency and honesty with their clients and families. We have embraced every piece of technology that allows this to become more and more possible.
