Home Instead

Home Instead has allowed my parents to stay in their own home comfortably and safely far into their 90's. Lisa F. in particular has been an absolute godsend, and we couldn't ask for better. She is caring, thoughtful, and thoroughly professional. She almost feels like one of the family! Thank you so much. Diane B.

My wife arranged with the Director of the Wolfboro Home Instead agency two weeks in advance to have coverage for my father-in-law for a morning so my mother-in-law could attend a baby shower for her soon-to-be great grandchild. The Director assured us that she would have someone to cover as there was plenty of time to plan. The day before, the home health aids from Hine Instead called their office from my in-laws apartment to confirm that someone would be available for coverage. Today, the day of the baby shower, no one came from Home Instead. When I called the office to find out why, the person at the other end of the phone blamed my mother-in-law saying she hadn’t made an appointment. This is one of several let downs from this company. Among the problems was when my father in law’ condition was unprofessionally and incompetently done by someone entirely unlicensed and unqualified. The administrators kept insisting their planning would be based on this inaccurate assessment by an u licensed and unqualified person. That is dangerous and against the law. Sadly, the services for elder care are extremely important for families. Home Instead has consistently failed us. Today was simply the last straw. More sadly, with so few resources in the Wolfboro area Home Instead given us more problems then they have solved. We can not recommend them.

I cannot say enough good things about Lakeside Senior Care, dba Home Instead and our experience supporting our parents at this vulnerable time, honestly, for all of us. Every person we have worked with has had our parents' best interest and quality care as their first priority, especially supporting the delicate transition to needing this support. Caregiver Stacey has gone above and beyond. She has taken the best physical care of our parent's needs in every area, including nutrition, hygiene and living conditions. But, most importantly, Stacey has gently, with the utmost care, compassion, and respect, cared for mom and dad's emotional and mental needs as they transition to this stage of their journey. We, as a family are very grateful and feel completely supported and guided as we figure it all out as well. We highly recommend this agency and the wonderful people that have supported us all through this new stage of life.

I have loved the time I have spent working with Home Instead. It is an outstanding company run by people who truly care about providing a compassionate way to empower seniors to remain in their homes. All of the staff and all of the caregivers that I had the pleasure of working with have been fantastic, supportive, pleasant, helpful, and above all, caring. If you are looking for care for someone in your life, I highly recommend considering Home Instead.
