BADGER HOSPICE

Absolutely love working with our Badger Hospice care team. Our nurse, Katherine, is wonderful not only to our residents that are on service but also our staff. It is so nice to have a nurse that listens not only to the resident, their family but the nursing staff at the facility that takes care of them all the time. She uses every opportunity as a teaching moment when she can and explains things and makes sure everyone understands. Our wonderful chaplain, Eugene, I can’t begin to say enough about him. He is so open and comforting to everyone. He is always willing to go the extra mile to meet someone’s spiritual needs. Absolutely love working with our care team!!!

Whenever she drops in for a visit to check on my grandma, my grandmother just lights up with joy because Katherine has been such a positive addition to her life over the past year or so. As a family, we are so grateful for Katherine because we trust that my grandma is in good hands and we love how well she has taken to Katherine's wonderful personality. Katherine's warm and very personable demeanor is partly why my grandmother trusts and loves her so much. Personally, I enjoy seeing Katherine because she has a great sense of humor, and I can really see how much she genuinely cares for not just my grandma's health, but for her soul and emotional wellbeing. My grandma cannot help but start telling me about how much she LOVES Katherine before Katherine has even made it through the front door on her way out! We cannot thank her enough for how lovely she has been!

My aunt is fortunate to be under the care of Kathryn the hospice nurse at Badger. Kathryn communicates with me on a regular basis regarding any changes in status and goes above and beyond what I have experienced in hospice care with other relatives. I so appreciate the added layer of compassion with Badger and the insightful dialogue I have had with Kathryn is invaluable as I navigate my aunt's life journey.

Katherine is an amazing nursing, goes that extra mile for her residents. Everyone loves all of the staff from Badger Hospice. Always sweet, nice and very caring. Eugene loves to give love to all as a wonderful chaplain.

Both of my parents were in the care of Badger Hospice in June and July of 2020. My family was extremely happy with the quality of care given, but especially with the constant love, support and friendship provided with every Hospice visit. Everyone from Badger was kind, caring, thoughtful and professional. We couldn’t have asked for a better team. The Manager, Nurse, Chaplain and Case Worker all provided a personal connection for my parents and my family. Knowing your loved ones’ health is in the care of a very competent nurse and their spiritual care was in the hands of a loving Chaplain, gave our family the confidence we needed especially in the difficult time of COVID when we could not enter their Assisted Living facility. The team kept in constant contact with us and we always felt informed and up to date on their care. We can’t thank Badger Hospice enough for all they have done to make my parent’s last weeks the best they could be.
