I want to express my deepest gratitude to Heather, my mother’s hospice nurse, and Tasha, her shower aide, from Alpha Home Health and Hospice. Both of these incredible women brought comfort, compassion, and dignity to my mother during one of the most difficult times of our lives. Heather was truly exceptional. Her calm presence, medical expertise, and genuine kindness made such a difference each day. She never rushed, always took the time to explain what was happening, and treated my mother with the utmost respect and gentleness. Heather supported our whole family, not just my mom, and her compassion will never be forgotten. Tasha was equally amazing. She approached her work with such tenderness and care, making my mother feel comfortable and valued. Her warm personality lit up the room, and she always made sure my mom felt safe and cared for during every visit. It was clear that this wasn’t just a job for her—it was a calling. Alpha Hospice is truly fortunate to have Heather and Tasha on their team. We are forever grateful for their kindness, patience, and the beautiful way they cared for my mother.

Alpha Hospice was amazing. They truly went above and beyond in caring for my mother over the five months she was with them. The little gestures, like bringing her a stuffed animal for comfort, meant so much to her and to our family. After her passing, I wasn’t sure how to handle all the affairs, so I specifically looked for a hospice that offered Aftercare, and I’m so glad I did. Alison was incredibly helpful and even made some important notifications on my behalf. Alpha Hospice was absolutely fantastic, and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking compassionate, thoughtful care.

I was very happy with the Team that took care of my husband during his illness. They were very professional and caring, the nurse explained the dying process and what to expect, which was help to me, I don't know how to say enough about the team and how understanding and helpful they were, I don't know what I would have done without their help. If I or my husband had a question it was answered with compassion and understanding of our situation. The nurse and bath aide were very gentle with my husband, the chaplain gave me a chance to discuss my concerns and the social worker helped me with finding the resources that were needed.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. I agreed to admit my grandmother to hospice around January 2025. I have no complaints regarding the care as it was adequate and communication from the care staff was consistent. My grandmother did well enough that she was discharged alive from their services. You would think this was a positive thing, but it has been a bureaucratic nightmare. On May 18, 2025, my grandmother was discharged alive from hospice, but reported DEAD to social security. This has caused her to no longer receive benefits from social security, her pension has been shut off, her bank account was suspended. As her power of attorney I have spent a minimum of 200 hours trying to remedy this situation. My grandma has no money, resulting in being unable to pay her caregiver the appropriate participation fee. She now faces potential homelessness at 95 years old. I am still working with SSI to have her deemed alive. I am still working to have her pension reinstated. I was able to get her bank account reopened. It has been over 4 months. I now have to pay out of pocket for her medications as she no longer has insurance, due to being reported as DEAD. My problem with Alpha Hospice is that they are so completely unhelpful. They provided a letter in June stating THEIR MISTAKE and that she is alive. Since then they have not returned my multiple messages for assistance. I would estimate more than 10. I am a hospice nurse for a different hospice and am absolutely APPALLED at their lack of accountability. I would never recommend this organization to my worst enemy. I cannot adequately describe the difficulty this hospice has caused me. 0/10 do not recommend

Alpha has been my go-to for Home Health post-surgery PT over 3 surgeries in the last 3 years. I cannot say enough about how great your service is. You have gone out of your way to provide me with the best care, and to fulfill my request to work with the previous wonderful PTs and OTs who helped me so beautifully in the past. They have gotten even better at what they do since my previous experience with them, not only from a technical standpoint but from a caring one. They have helped me to progress steadily with my physical requirements over the weeks since my latest surgery and have helped encourage me to keep going! I would not hesitate to recommend Alpha Home Health
