Aseracare Hospice is a Medicare-certified hospice provider serving Exton, Pennsylvania and surrounding areas. A Medicare-certified hospice provides comfort care and support services to patients with terminal illnesses and their families. Hospice care focuses on quality of life rather than curative treatment.
Hospice care is available to patients whose physician certifies they have a terminal illness with a life expectancy of six months or less if the illness runs its normal course. Patients may receive hospice care at home, in a hospice facility, nursing home, or hospital.
Medicare-certified hospices must provide all four levels of hospice care: routine home care, continuous home care for periods of crisis, general inpatient care for symptom management, and inpatient respite care to give caregivers a break. Care is provided by an interdisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and trained volunteers.

My 90 Year Old Mother Came home from a nursing facility on Hospice in October 2021. We where contacted by the office the same day. The next day the intake/case nurse was out to visit her and check on supplies for her care, given the shortage of care givers in the US today that was faster than I thought it would happen. The aids are good and caring, some needed to learn my moms routine and picked up on it fast. Social worker and Chaplin came to meet mom and the family, explained there rolls to help mom and us . I cannot say enough how nice it is to have the quality of care they put forth, because with out it she would be in the home and dead already. Thank God for caring people!!!!
Death at home is not easy. Knowing a family member is terminal is less so.AseraCare was and is amazing. From the woman who initially answered the phone to our nurses to our social worker there are no words sufficient to describe how amazing and wonderful these people are. They do God’s work on Earth.
The staff is nice, but is run by corporate which made everything worse when they were bought out. Went 2 weeks without an aid. No other extras. Supplies like diapers are cheap and rip. There are only 3 girls to 50 patients. They don’t have enough help and can’t keep new people. They can’t go to 10 people in a day. I got 30 mins. That’s it. Only stayed with them because of the wonderful nurse we had. They need a rehaul.
Wonderful and caring staff. Could not have asked for better care for my Mother. Highly recommend Asceracare.
